Mary Jeppsen just returned last Thursday from a trip to Hawaii. She went with the Beehive travel tours. She said of her trip she just went, and, went and went and went. They visited different islands while there. The island of Hilo, through a volcano national park and to the island of Kona, then on to Maui. There they saw and learned about all the sugarcane. They visited a sugar factory. They have to burn the cane in the field before bringing it to the factory. This Mary found interesting. They then went to the island of Lanai. From here they went to Kauai. Their next stop was at Pearl Harbor for a while where they boarded a glass bottom boat where they could see the ocean bottom. They then went to Honolulu where they went to Paradise Park where the LDS church BYU center is, also the Temple and the Polynesian Cultural center. This, Mary said, was absolutely beautiful. Other things Mary saw was the Sea Life Park. A tour of the whole city and they also saw the grave yard of the American soldiers.
