It will be held in the cultural hall and the Primary children will present their Summer Sing. They will also display articles they have made during summer Primary weeks. Primary will begin in September after school begins. Fryer petition has been started and community members are being urged to write letters in an effort to keep our Deweyville Post office. This Post office has served the people in our area for a great number of years and to see it being taken away leaves many of us feeling it is not the A right thing to do. Letters should be sent to Harold D. Blanch, Supt. of Delivery and Collection, U.S. Post Office, Ogden, Utah. If you have not signed the petition, it is in the foyer at the church, so please do so. This reporter, for one, does not feel that being on a route is the most "efficient, and economic way to provide mail service in our community, and I am learning that a great many feel the same way. They are visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Norr. The Holts daughter, Jackie, will attend Ricks college, so the Holts are doing some visiting and sightseeing around for a week or so. Busy with Family The Thales Cannons have been busy with their family this past week, also. The Reuben Oxborrows and their children came from Seattle, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Deakin and sons from San Jose, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smith and family came up from Layton, as did Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cannon and children from North Ogden, and Mrs. Leah Oxborrow from Salt Lake City to join in on all the fun and visiting. Mrs. Dewey Gardner has returned to the McKay-De- e hospital in Ogden for back surgery, She is such a lovely lady and we wish a good recovery to health for her. Paul and Mr. Mrs. Christensen and children came from Cortez, Colo., last week to visit for several days with the David Holdaway family.
