AB Ward 3b the Valley of Willard Western Boys Baseball leagues clinched league victories the past week. The Giants edged the Hornets by a single game, finishing for the year. The winners in the crushed the Eagles final game to clinch the title. The Fireballs whipped the Wildcats 4 to end their season as the Willard champs. in And Brigham City American play, the Yankees defeated the Tigers and the Red Sox downed the Dodgers. 11-- 6 18-- 9 13-- Within Game The Hornets, on July 7, brought themselves within a game of the leaders in Valley, American, shelling the Giants 3 B s 16-- Rich Daines and Randy Owens delivered doubles for the winners while Daines, Shawn Gardner, Henry Garcia and Gary Grover all had singles. Matt Tingey, Eddie Rader and Ollie Pierce hit safely for the losers. The same day, the Eagles trimmed the Stars 13-Basehits were recorded for the Eagles by Clark Hendrickson, Elliot Hill, Robyn Mozingo, Justin Anderson, Tim Woodward and Bobby Moore. Jeff Limb homered and tripled for the losers while Kipp Baty doubled and Kirk Baty and each Christensen Eugene singled. In the final games of the season, the Hornets downed the Stars 5 Bret Carter and Blaine Childs were their Dodger counterparts on the mound. Branden Rackham singled Bret times, Carter and Ted McCurdy, and Brad Terry Nelson Williams each singled.
