Claine Smith of Ogden spent the weekend visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Smith and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Anger attended funeral services for Mrs. Mary Holman in the Bear River City ward chapel Thursday. A family party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Udy and family Thursday evening. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Watson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Udy and baby of Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Udy and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Coombs and family of Fielding. Dainty light refreshments were served., The occasion was Mrs. Boyd Udys birthday anniversaryCallers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Munson and family Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. J. Cleon Petersen and family of DesPlains, 111. weekend Spending the visiting Mrs. Donetta Petersen and other relatives in this area were Mr. and Mrs. Garth Rasmussen of Vernal and Miss Shaneen Rasmussen, a student at Utah State university in Logan. Attend Seminar Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Udy and Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Earl attended a bankers seminar at the Brigham Young university in Provo Wednesday as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne of Brigham City. They are asociated with the Box Elder County Bank in Brigham City. Enroute home they enjoyed a dinner party at Maddox Ranch House in Brigham City. Monday visitors of Mrs. Arlene Sutherland were Mr. and Mrs. Kent Sutherland and family of Brigham City. A delicious dinner was served. A show and tell program was presented. Each member brought along some of their handiwork or a hobby they were working on and had on display, telling interesting features about each. Mrs. Aloha Gam entertained members of the Variety Club at Juniper Inn, north of Logan Friday evening. Enjoying a lovely supper were Mrs. Carolyn Larson, Mrs. Lila Miller, Mrs. Norma Coombs, Mrs. Ann Potter, Mrs. Arlene Oyler of Tremonton, Mrs. Bonnie Garn, Mrs. Barbara Udy, Mrs. Carol Forsberg and the hostess of Fielding. A social followed. Enjoying Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Darold Simmons and family in Salt Lake City were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Anger. Mrs. Vickie Archibald and daughter Ginger were overnight guests of Vickies grandparents Mr. and Ms. E.E. Lefler in Riverdale Friday. Mrs. Voylet Grover spent Sunday afternoon visiting her Mr. son and daughter-in-laand Mrs. Raymond Grover and family in Bear River City. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. anf Mrs. Ralph Udy and family were Dr. Doyle Udy of Boulder, Colo.; Mr. and Mrs. John Laws of Bothwell. In the afternoon they visited their mother Mrs. Ina Udy in Mendon. Dinner guests of Mrs. Alene Sutherland Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sutherland of Ogden. Visit Grandparents Connie, Dale, Kaylene and Debra Anderson of Ogden have been spending a few days visiting their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Herman Potter. Mrs. Potter accompanied them to their home in Ogden Sunday. Their parents Mr. and Mrs. Keith Anderson had been on a business trip in Boise. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Munson and son Forrest, Mrs. Edith Godfrey, Cyril Godfrey, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Abbott, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Coombs and daughter Cindy have visited Hyrum Godfrey in the LDS Hospital in Logan during the week. Hyrum is recurperating nicely following hip surgery. Miss Sheri Abbott celebrated her seventh birthday Feb. 20 along with her family. She was presented a lovely ballerina birthday cake. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Abbott have spent a good share of their time the past week visiting Donalds mother Mrs. Dona Abbott of Tremonton who underwent major surgery in the LDS Hospital in Logan. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Afton Adams during the past week were Mrs. Shirley Steed and Mrs. Dixie Stringham of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Davis and daughter Jeanie and' son Allen of Rupert, Mr. and Mrs. Usel Adams of Fairfield, Mont, and Floyd Adams of Yuba City, Calif. They came especially to attend funeral services for Afton Adam's brother, Eldon Adams held in Logan last Monday. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Afton Adams were Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Steed and son Marvin of Ogden. Ward Reunion March 15 has been scheduled for the annual ward reunion to be held in the church building. Tell your friends and plan to come. Servings will be at 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. The .annual Gold and Green Ball featuring the Westernaires will start at 8:30 p.m. Children attending elementary school will enjoy a dinner followed by a movie at the ward building Friday March 14 immediately following school. More details by Flo Munson Mr. and Mrs. Richard Calderwood accompanied their son David to the Salt Lake airport Sunday where he left for his home in Lima, Peru after k completing a special assignment in Alexandria, Va. Last weekend David along with his parents visited his brother-in-laand sister Mr. and Mrs. James (Kayla) Phillips and family in Salt Lake City. This past weekend David was in Tremonton with his parents. His wife and three children remained in Lima, Peru while David was in the states. six-wee- later date. Bruce and Kurt Zundel were in Salt Lake City for the weekend attending wrestling meets. Mr. and Mrs. Wynn Zundel were in Salt Lake City on business Wednesday. Friday Mrs. Helen Severson accompanied by Lee McDonald of Logan visited Lees parents Mr. and Mrs. Morrell in Pleasant View afterwhich they visited Mrs. Seversons cousin Shirley Byington who is receiving care at the McKay hospital and with his wife who was there visiting with her husband. Later they were joined by Mrs. Lucille Walton of Layton and visited Mr. and Mrs. Robert Telford in Woodscross. Mrs. Wynn Zundel entered the Cooley hospital in Brigham City today (Thursday) and will undergo major surgery Friday. the weekend Spending visiting Mr. and Mrs. Don Scott and family were Walter Scott and daughter Ronda of Aberdeen, Idaho. Home for Weekend Miss Teresa Scott, a student at USU in Logan spent the weekend visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. David Scott and family. Visiting Mrs. Millie Welling during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gardner, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Gardner and children Christie, Alicia and Steven of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Brown and daughter Jolene of Layton. Sunday guests of Mrs. Millie Welling were her sister Mrs. Reta Kirkwood, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Kirkwood of Salt Lake City. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Hess and family were Mrs. Pearl Hoopes of Benson Ward, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hoopes and son Troy of Ogden and Mrs. Melba Hess of Fielding. Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Adams enjoyed attending the annual Bridgerland Appaloosa Club trail ride Saturday in the foothills of Millville to watch the elk and deer. A delicious pot luck dinner was enjoyed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Blotter in Millville. Tuesday Mrs. Tess Hess accompanied by Mrs. Marlene Wells of Malad and Mrs. Pearl Hoopes of Benson Ward enjoyed a luncheon in Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Scott accomapnied by Mr. and Mrs. Andy Funk of Garland attended a scout banquet and court of honor in the Park Valley church building Satuday evening. Monday evening Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Earl and son Clinton Sherril by accompanied Johnson of Ogden and Dan Earl of Blackfoot attended the commercial league basketball game held in the Armory in Logan Monday evening where Clinton was one of the participants. They all enjoyed a dinner party at the Pizza House following the game. Dan remained overnighj at the Earl home. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Scott and family spent Sunday visiting Mrs. Scotts parents Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Lusk in Malad. Returninguesday after a vacation in the delightful Hawaiian Islands were Mr. and Mrs. K. H. Fridal III. They spent sometime in Honolulu, Hawaii afterwhich they were on the Island of Laie where they attended a session in the LDS Temple, visited the Polynesian Center and attended church in a Samoan Ward. They visited the Islands of Kauai and Maui afterwhich they returned to the Island of Oahu. They report the weather was ideal with temperatures in the 80s and very, very little rain. The Fridals especially enjoyed the beaches with the breezes from the ocean. They were met at the Salt Lake airport upon their return by Mr. and Mrs. Knud Fridal and daughter Susan. Spending the past week visiting Miss Ardes Adams and other relatives in this area were Mr. and Mrs. Ursel Adams and son Duane of Fairfield, Mont. They came especially for the funeral services of Ursel Adams brother, Eldon Adams held in Logan last Monday. Mrs. Dona Abbott has returned home after having major surgery at the LDS hospital in Logan. y Attend Seminars Dr. and Mrs. LaMar Harris returned home Tuesday after seminars attending in Chicago for the American Equilibration society, the mid-wint- American Prosthodontic society, and the Academy for Plastic Research and Dentistry. They also attended many luncheons. They were dinner guests of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Gunnen, Peter DePaplo, Mrs. Paul Pablik and Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Sweetham. Houseguests at the home of Dr. and Mrs. LaMar Harris are their and daughter Mr. and Mrs. George Shelby and son Robert and daughter Kathleen of Whitewater, Wis. The Shelbys are planning to locate in the Utah area. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wilford son-in-la- Sunday was Mrs. Rogers niece Mrs. Doris Adams of Hyrum. The Tremonton Womens Civic League met at the Senior Center Thursday afternoon with Mrs. Marge Oyler as hostess. Benon Wheatley conducted the meeting. A report of the Womens State Legislative council was given by Mrs. Mildred Shumway. Mrs. Irene Morris gave a lesson on homemaking centered around creativity using what you have to solve problems and satisfy your needs. A dainty light luncheon was served. Mountain Fuel proposes to pass along the refund, with interest, to its customers in e Utah in the form of a credit to be applied against billings made in June 1975.
