Show BOX ELDER JOURNAL, Brigham City, Utah At old dump Saturday 3 Thursday, September 19, 1974 Lions club ready for annual shoot The Brigham City Lions club is looking at its annual turkey shoot, scheduled Saturday, Sept. 21, at the old city dump. You wouldnt know the place, might apply to the location. New permanent concrete trap houses have been constructed and fill dirt has been hauled in to give the former dump a better appearance. A turkey is to be given away each hour beginning at 12 noon for lucky ticket holders attending the shoot. A giant jackpot of other prizes will be given away at 6 p.m. Those who buy tickets for the shoot will be eligible to win and need not be present. The prizes include a black and white television set, radio, Coleman jug, Coleman heater, sleeping bag, binoculars, hand mixer, two snow tires, and a $10 bill. Tickets selling at 50 cents each are available from any Lions club member and will be sold at the shoot.
