Entertains Club Vera Mrs. Westergard graciously entertained members of the Pinochle Club at her home Wednesday evening. Special guests were Lyn Austin, Rowane Westergard and Pam Burton. Prizes went to Madge Homer, Lyn Austin and Rowane Westergard. A delicious dessert was enjoyed. Mrs. and Mr. Nephi Westergard returned home Sunday evening after an envacation in joyable three-dathe Uintah Mountains where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. A1 Cassainer at their cabin. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Brent Westergard, Mr. and Mrs. Mel Hollingworth, y Jorgenson, Gerald Alcorn and Suzanne Sayer of Salt Lake City. They all enjoyed a three-hou- r tour on a raft on Green River. Spending the past week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ellery Hall were Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Hall of Hopkinsville, Ky. The two men are brothers. Attend Reunion Mrs. Hazel Rose was a dinner guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Rose and family in Brigham City Sunday they all attended the Leon Alley Rose reunion held in Rees Park. A picnic, program and social were enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Davis and son Darren were in Rex-burIdaho, Saturday to visit Mrs. Davis sister Lora lee Kesler of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada who has enrolled at Ricks College. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell Wood during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Boman and son Richard of Lewiston and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wood of Cheyenne, Wyo. Saturday visitors at the home O. C. Davis were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Williams of Malad, Idaho. Visit With Sisters Visiting Mrs. Leila Thompson Thursday were her sisters Mrs. Sarah Godfrey and Mrs. Ven Apgood of Clarkston. Mr. and Mrs. Visiting Leonard Bishop and Mrs. Lucetta Thompson during the week were Mr. and' Mrs. Gary Hart and Barbara Thompson of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. ReVere Hansen of Ogden, and Howard Shumway of San Bernardino, Calif. Sunday visitors at the home of Mayor and Mrs. George Hales were Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Lott of Salt Lake City. Their grandson Bradley Davis of Ogden spent the weekend at the Hales home. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Jensen Monday evening were Lt. Mayor and Mrs. George Hales accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Cravens of Tremonton attended the performance of Promised Valley in Salt Lake City during the week. LaMar Cassainer, Craig Mrs. Karl Boss and son Chris of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Boss. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Marriott accompanied by Mrs. Paul Hales and family of Tremonton were in Ogden on business Monday. Wood Sunday evening were Mr. and Weekend Guests Weekend guests of Mrs. Venna Hess were her and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Burke Peterson and son Rick and daughters Julie and Jennifer. The Peterson family have been living in Billings, Mont, but are now making their home in Eureka, Nev. where Burke has bought a cattle ranch. LaMont Mr. and Mrs. Richards and family have been several days in spending Preston due to the death of Mrs. Richards father Archie Gill. Attending the viewing Sunday evening were Mrs. Mildred and Richards daughter Florence. They accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Rees of Tremonton. Mildred Mrs. Monday Richards, Mrs. Zona Parkinson, Mrs. Cheryl Thompson and Mrs. Ada May Griffen attended the funeral services held in the Preston Second ward chapel along with the LaMont Richards family. Dinner guests at the home of Mayor and Mrs. George Hales Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Max Hales and family of Logan. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Bowcutt last week were Mrs. Dave (Judy Gough) Graff and daughter Susan and son Michael of Palo Alto, Calif., Michael Mrs. (Margaret Gough) Sigman of Scarsdale, N.Y., Dave Gough of St. Louis, Mo., Judy, Margaret and Dave are children of the former Janice Earl Gough of Fielding.
