Show 5 j Tremonfon Tales Home start recruits kids for 74-7- 5 California vacation enjoyed by Dr. and Mrs. Harris by Flo Munson Dr. and Mrs. LaMar Harris have returned from an enjoyable vacation in California. They visited Mrs. W. Crismon Lewis in San Diego, with Mrs. Harris uncle and his wife Mr. and Mrs. Howard C. Moench in LaJolla and attended a wedding ceremony and reception in Canoga Park for Ronald Arden Staggs who claimed Debra Joy Christensen as his bride in rites performed in the First United Presbyterian Church. The reception was held at the home of the brides parents Mr. and Mrs. V. J. Christensen. Mrs. Harris attended Disneyland along with Mrs. Leona Strong and Tanya Strong of Portland. Upon returning they visited Mrs. Harris brother and sister-in-laDr. and Mrs. Louis Moench in Salt Lake City and also enjoyed visiting the Moenchs houseguests Mrs. Wayne Egar of Austin Texas, and Mrs. Janette Rees of Odessa, Texas who has had serious major surgery and who is recuperating at the Moench home. Sunday Dr. and Mrs. LaMar Harris entertained 52 family members at a buffet luncheon at their home. The occasion was Dr. Harris birthday anniversary. Guild Meets The Literary Guild met at the home of Mrs. Hugh Manning Tuesday evening. Mrs. Wilford Rogers welcomed members and guests. Mrs. John Fridal gave an interesting review of Peggy Manns book entitled Golda the life story of Golda Maier. Special guests were Mrs. Carl Romer and Mrs. Karla Wilkins. Dainty refreshments were served. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Rogers last week was Mrs. Mrs. Irene Rogers sister-in-laWilliams of Atlanta, Ga. Mrs. Karla Wilkins and children Kimberly, Kyle, KoriLynn and Kirk of Mesa, Ariz. also spent several days at the Rogers home. Karla is Mrs. Rogers daughter. Saturday afternoon Mrs. Garland Puzey visited Dr. and Mrs Paul Randle in Logan. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Garland Puzey had as their dinner guests Mr. and Mrs. Bob Puzey and family of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Puzey and family of Roy and Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Cochran. Later they all attended the Golden Spike Rodeo and the Box Elder County Fair. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Rogers during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hooper of Ogden. Overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Garfield Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Arbon and children Michael and Kelly of Logan. Host Dinner Party Bishop and Mrs. Theo Coombs entertained at a dinner party at their home Thursday evening for their son Michael who was observing his birthday anniversary. Michael recently returned from an LDS Mission in Colombia, South America. Guests included Dr. and Mrs. Daryl Garn and family of Mesa, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Anderson and son Jeremie of Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson, Ariz. are spending two weeks visiting Mr. and Mrs. George Sato and family. They are also visiting Mrs. Andersons parents Bishop and Mrs. Marvin Ashby and family in Garland.
