Dorothy J. Tincher Tincher Mrs. Dorothy Marie Jensen Tincher, 56, of Brigham City, died of a short illness Aug. 11 in the University hospital in Salt Lake City. She was born April 22, 1919 to John P. and Marie S. Jensen. She married Arlie H. Tincher June 26, 1937 in Salt Lake City. was later The marriage solemnized in the LDS temple. She was active in the LDS church, serving in the Relief society. She is survived by her husband, five sons and three daughters: Bert E. Tincher, Pontiac, Mich.; Jay H. Tincher, Salt Lake City; Bruce C. Tincher, Roy, Utah; Jon Kelly Tincher and Carl J. Tincher, Brigham City; Mrs. Dan (Arlene) Erb, Houston, Texas; Mrs. Don (Mary Kay) Jensen, Ogden; and Mrs. Arden (Janet) Beard, Wellsville; also surviving are her father, John P. Jensen, two brothers and two S. sisters: Jensen, Ray Sacramento, Calif.; Bert S. Jensen, Brigham City; Mrs. Robert (Zina) Judd, Mrs. Elaine Jones both of Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Eleventh Ward chapel with Bishop Tommy Rasmussen conducting. Friends may call at the Petersen Funeral chapel prior to the services. Burial will be in Brigham City cemetery. Lillie J. Christensen Mrs. Lillie Althea Jeppensen Christensen, 81, of 415 West Forest street, Brigham City, died at her home Monday morning after a short illness. She was born Jan. 26, 1893, at Mantua to John Peter and Anna Marie Christensen Jeppensen. She was married to James Elmus Christensen on June 3, 1914, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He died in April 1957. She had lived in Bear River City, Moore, Idaho, and Harper Ward, moving to Brigham City in 1944. She was a past president of the primary and YLMIZ, a Sunday school teacher, a Relief society teacher and visiting teacher. Survivors include four sons and three daughters, Joseph B. Christensen, Eden; Lowell J. Christensen, Ogden; Gale L. Don Christensen, L. Christensen, Roy; Mrs. Byron (Anona) May, Mrs. Lee (Ellen) Walker, Brigham City; Mrs. Frank (LaVell) Mastronardi, Ogden; 26 grandchildren and 25 one great-grandchildre- Mrs. Arlene McKee, Salmon, Idaho. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 10 a.m. in the Brigham City Second LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Jay C. Valentine conducting. Ward and son Willie of Kaysville. Mrs. Wards daughter Mrs. Margie Shirley of Rexburg, Idaho, who was unable to meet with them called by phone to extend greetings. Visiting Mrs. Ed Udy Saturday were her and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Nyle Mangum of Midvale and Mrs. Deon Searle of Brigham City. Ed Udy underwent surgery at the McKay hospital in Ogden Thursday. Visiting him during the week were his wife, Myrle Udy; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Udy, Mrs. Cleo Forsberg, Mr. and Mrs. Lavere Udy of Riverside, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Udy of Garland, Mrs. Jeanette Rhodes of Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Buxton of Salt Lake City. Visiting Mrs. Lester Coombs Thursday were Dr. and Mrs. Jex Capener, Mrs. Wallace Capener of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Ruth Bone of Tremonton. Mr. and Mrs. LaVoy Udy have returned from a delightful vacation in South Dakota. They enjoyed the Passion Play, visited Mt. Rushmore etc. Alma Johnson of Riverside, Calif, is spending sometime with his aunt Mrs. Alice Ward and other relatives in this area. Attend Reunion Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Russell Capener, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Gardner and daughters Carrie and Darcie attended the William J. Strong family reunion held in Watkins Park in Brigham City. Approximately 50 were present and enjoyed a picnic luncheon, program and social. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Capener, formerly of Sunset along with their family have been spending sometime at the Russell Capener home prior to leaving Saturday for England Arnel Price Franklin Arnel Price, 68, Tremonton, was dead on arrival at McKay-De- e hospital, Ogden, Saturday of a heart attack. He was born Dec. 19, 1905, in Tremonton, a son of George Franklin and Emma May Allphin Price. He was reared and educated in Bear River valley. He married Millie E. Record on Sept. 4, 1925, in Brigham was City. The marriage solemnized in the Logan LDS temple in December 1955. He was a lifelong resident of Tremonton and had worked at the Remington Arms plant in Salt Lake City for three years. He was employed by Utah in Garland for 45 years and had been manager for 37 years until retiring in 1969. He was a high priest in the Tremonton Second LDS ward and had served as president of the seventies quorum and as a home teacher. Surviving are his widow of Tremonton; three sons and five daughters, Arnel B. Price, Brigham City; James D. Price, Cedar City; Gary D. Price, Mrs. Jack (Nola H.) Hale, both of Mrs. Tony Tremonton; (Josephine) Whitaker, St. George; Mrs. Viola R. Paul, Willard; Mrs. Roy (Faye M.) Lessa, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Rawlin (Sandra) Andersen, Bear River children; City; 21 21 government service. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Tremonton Second Ward chapel with Bishop K. H. Fridal officiating. Burial was in Riverview cemetery in Tremonton. The Abe Grant Family CARD OF THANKS Henry Brousseau Henry Edgar Brousseau, 63 of Main, Brigham City, died Aug. 13 at the St. Benedict hospital in Ogden after suffering a stroke. He was born July 6, 1911 in Southbridge, Mass., to Henry and Anna Assdlin Brousseau. He married Grace Vayro Oct. 11, 1941 in Newport, Rhode Island. Mr. Brousseau was reared and educated in Southbridge, Mass., and had been employed with the Pantex Ordinances plant in Amarilo, Texas. He moved to Brigham 15 years ago where he was as an engineer at Thiokol. He was retired. Mr. Brousseau was a member of the St. Michaels Episcopal church. Andcrsen's-For- d i323 South Main Return Home Returning home after a relaxing vacation to Expo 74 and Alberta, Canada, are Mr. and Mrs. James Ririe and children Danny and Kathy. While in Canada they were houseguests at the home of Mrs. Margaret Ririe, mother of Mr. Ririe. On the return trip, they stopped for a tour of the Lewis and Clark Caverns. Friends from Brigham City, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Mordue and family accompanied them on their trip. Recent overnight visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Ririe were Tom and Joan Karren and family of Alberta, Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Ford Byrne were in Meridian, Idaho, recently to attend funeral services for an uncle of Mr. Byrne. Their children spent the weekend in Ogden with their grandmother. Enjoying several days in Yellowstone Park recently were Mrs. Mr. and Rupert Blackham. They joined Mr. and Mrs. Dale Blackham and their tiny twin daughters who were vacationing there. Undergoing surgery at the Logan LDS hospital last week was Myrl D. Perry. Mr. Perry had surgery on his wrist. Visiting the Clarence Perry family in Logan Tuesday were Mr. and Mrs. Myrl D. Perry. Celebrates Birthday Little Brenda Burbank blew out two candles on her birthday cake recently as family members gathered at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Burbank, to honor her on her second birthday. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Burbank and Craig, Mr. and Mrs. A R. Burbank, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Burbank and children Marcie Jo and Gregory, and Mr. and Mrs. Vern Adams and family Valerie, Dale and Teresa. After the festivities, Teresa Adams who had been staying at the Burbank home, accompanied her parents home to Jerome, Idaho. Scenic Montana was the destination of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Perry and children Stephanie and Mark as they left Saturday on a weeks vacation. After a stop in Downey, Idaho, to visit friends they were continuing on to Helena, Mont., to visit Mr. and Mrs. Mel Reisner and family, then to Missoula to spend several days visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Richards and family. Mrs. Richards is a sister of Mrs. Perry. Mr. and Mrs. Craig Anderson of Logan accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Randy Burbank and children Marcie and Greg to White Pine Lake recently and enjoyed a weiner roast and scenic drive through the area. Attends Shower Mrs. Bob Gardner was in Logan recently to attend a baby shower honoring her sister, Mrs. Myrna DeGrizelles. Attending a family dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Goodey in Clarkston were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gardner and family. They also visited the Herman Thompson family. Descendants of Daniel Mark Burbank met at the Crystal Springs in Honeyville recently for a family reunion. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Burbank attended and enjoyed visiting with family members. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Burbank were visiting in Ogden Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Ahlmer of Ogden visited at the Douglas Burbank home Saturday. Enjoying a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kluesner and family were Ray and Audrey Gleason. They traveled to Lima, Mont., last weekend for a family visit. Mrs. Kluesner is a daughter eagerly anticipating having her home. Proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Litchford of Deweyville and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Smith of Monroe. Mrs. Smith and daughter Shelley are staying at the Michael Litchford home to care for the sweet new arrival. Great-grandmothe- r, Mrs. Lettie Snow, also welcomed Sherry Elain into the family. Alpine, Wyo., near Jackson Hole, was the scene of the annual Camp held recently. Miss Shari Rindlisbacher accompanied Jeri Dawn and Kris Thompson, DaNene and Jeanne Gardner, Deweyville, and Susie Allen, Tremonton on the three day camping expedition. Villa California, Park, beckoned Jo Ann Rindlisbacher as she left on a two week vacation with her grandmother, Mrs. Ivy Hodson, of Ogden, to visit relatives there. Visit From Japan Chie Yno, houseguest of the Jack Rindlisbacher family, flew to San Francisco, Calif., to meet her sister who came from Japan. The young ladies will travel to Utah for a weeks visit with the Rindlisbacher family. Senior citizens and High Priests and their partners are reminded of the annual party to be held Saturday night August 17 at Petersen park. Festivities will begin at 6:30. Those attending are reminded to bring their own silverware. A George C. Dewey family reunion was held at the Deweyville park on Saturday. Lunch was enjoyed by those attendng, followed by a business meeting in the afternoon. Games were played by the younger members of the group and that evening a cook-out- " was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Gardner. Changes in the Young Womens organization were announced Sunday evening in Sacrament Meeting by Bishop Zane Wheatley. Released as Mia Maid advisor was Janice Gardner. Sustained as the new Mia Maid advisor was Marco Hess. Mary Perry was selected as the new Laurel Advisor, replacing Becky Burbank who was released. Accepting the duties of Ward Service and Activities Advisor was Janice Gardner who took over the reigns from Toni Ririe. BC youth receives award LDS and Larry Jensen, son of Mr. Mrs. Sidney Jensen of Brigham God City, received the Duty to award during a priesthood meeting in July by Bishop Thomas Purdue, Twentieth ward. Larry is an active church member, having served in the deacons quorum presidency, president of the teachersof quorum and now as secretary the priest quorum. He is also an Eagle Scout. Larry will be a junior at Box Elder High school and a third year seminary student. He is a member of the school stage crew, Key club, swimming team and has been on the honor roll for the past year. Council sets Thursday meet Interagency Council will hold its monthly meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, in the downstairs room at Ray and Cathys cafe, as a luncheon. Mrs. Michael Perry and children Stephanie and Mark, attended the baptism services in Garland for Becky Hess, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Quentin Hess of Fielding. Becky is a sister of Mrs. Perry. On Sunday Mr. Perry joined his family and attended the confirmation at Fielding and attended a family dinner in honor of the occasion. New Arrival Mr. and Mrs. Michael are delighted over the arrival of a new baby daughter Sunday, August 11, at the Bear River Valley hospital in Tremonton. Little Sherry Elain weighed in at 9 lbs. 2 oz. and has two sisters and one brother Brigham City; Mrs. James N. (Marilyn) Tooley, Clearfield. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Valerie DAstro, and David and Melissa Tooley, and his mother of Southbridge, Mass. Requirum mass will be at 11 a.m. in St. Michaels with Rev. William Hannifin officiating, funeral chapel, Second North Main, Thursday evening 7 to 9 p.m. Internment will be in the Brigham City cemetery.
