Show 18 BOX ELDER JOURNAL, Brigham City, Utah Thursday, July 18, 1974 Box Tremonton will be the site of a celebration on Pioneer day which Mr. and Mrs. Max Weese planning festivities for the 24th that will bring a smile to modern day pioneers. Activities will begin at 8 a.m. with a chuck wagon breakfast at the north ball park. Food will be served until 10:25 a.m. for late risers. A flag ceremony by the National Guard will start off the days events. Kids get into the act with a miniature parade. At 3 p.m. Little League, minor and major, will be the attention getters, as they take the mounds for afternoon play. At 4:30 p.m. the Second annual Golden cup classic motorcycle race will begin west of the park. 6:30 p.m. will bring a treat for young and old alike as Steve Ward, Ogden, presents his hot air ballpon. Doug Coleman, also of Ogden, will present his trampolines for the crowd tp enjoy. Square dancing will begin at 8:30 p.m. with Erine Mann in charge of the highstepping. Skydivers are also scheduled to drop in during the day. DRAWING PRIZES for of Charles A. The recently founded chapter of the Box Elder county foster parent association which has been financed on a personal basis is now asking for donations from those who care. During Peach Days festivities the assoication will hold a drawing which will entitle those making a $1 donation to have a chance at various prizes. Donations can be made on July 19 and 20 during sidewalk sales and crazy day sales. The association is offering a Montgomery Ward matched set of 27 inch 10 speed racing bikes as first prize. Second prize will be I1 Niles H & H T.V. Donations receive a statutory disallowance of your claim. You can then go to court. If the IRS has not acted on your claim within six months from the date you filed it you can also file suit for refund.
