Lynn Jensen, 644 South First West, Brigham City. She requests no gifts. Mrs. Tanner was born July 18, 1894, in Huntington to Charles and Jossie Kimber. She moved to Grouse Creek when she was a small child and lived there until her marriage and then part of the time until she moved to Brigham City in 1933. She married David Ralph Tanner, November 19, 1914, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He operated a cattle ranch in Etna until he moved to Brigham City. He worked at Bushnell General Hospital and later was city Watermaster until he retired. He died in November, 1967. As a member of ths LDS Church, Mrs. Tanner has served as a Relief Society visiting teacher most of her life. She taught Primary in the Grouse Creek ward for two years. She graduated from the Grouse Creek school and then attended Brigham Young College in Logan until illness forced her to quit. She received a nurses aid certificate from Bushnell General hospital during World War II. at the Christensen home prior to attending a Kodak marketing managers convention in Long Island, N.Y. The Wilson family are also visiting an aunt. Miss Mabel Christensen in Brigham Ramos, Darlene Larsen, Karen Kerkove, and Rhea Loveland. Although failing has kept eyesight and Mrs. Tanner semiactive the last few years, she still manages to live alone, do all her own housework, and keep in close contact with her family and a host of friends. Besides her own large family, Mrs. Tanner feels fortunate in having nine living brothers and sisters who are frequent visitors in her home. Although Mrs. Tanner is celebrating 80 years of living she doesnt think of herself as old. The old folks are those people years her senior. And she says she can hardly believe her brothers and sisters, not to mention her children are as old as they really are. One brother is a spry active 90 years.
