Friday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. 0. C. Davis were Mr. and Mrs. Keith Banford and children Kelly, Kevin and Kristy of ElToro, Calif. Mrs. Banford was the former Barbara Couch of Garland. Other visitors were Mrs. Ruby Sims and daughter Donna Marie of Ogden. Mrs. Hazel Rose visited her son and daughter-in-law- , Mr and Mrs. Larry Rose and family in Brigham City Saturday, and got acquainted with her little new grandson born April 12 Mrs. Rose is the former LaVon Baron of Brigham City. They also have a small daughter Loci. .J Sunday visitors at the home of Mrs. Hazel Rose were her Mr. brother and sister-in-laand Mrs. Vince Buttars of Logan. Mrs. Louise Harper spent the past week visiting her and daughter Mr. and Mrs Dale Gardner and family in Ogden. She enjoyed Easter dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Harper in Sunset and also visited Mr. and Mrs. Earl son-in-la- Harper and family in Brigham enroute home. Sunday evening guests at the Louise Harper home were Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Harper and family of Malta. Thursday evening (tonight) Mrs. Louise Harper will attend a bridal kitchen shower for her granddaughter Miss Annette Gardner of Ogden with Pam and Christine Goodwin Miss Davidson as Gardner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Gardner, will become the bride of Curtis Jackson in rites performed in the Salt Lake LDS temple May 3. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Gephart Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gephart and family of Bountiful. Easter guests at the home of Mr. and Mis. W. Lee Thompson were Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Didericksen, Mrs. Debra Baird and daughter Tiffany of Grantsville, Jim Didericksen of Granger and Mr. and Mrs. LaRall Thompson and family of Thatcher. City Dinner Guests Mayor and Mrs. George Hales spent Friday in Ogden as dinner guests of Dr. and Mrs. Alten Davis and family. The occasion was Mrs. George Hales birthday anniversary. Mayor and Mrs. Hales spent the weekend in Tremonton Mayor Max Mason is pictured here with a street sweeper recently purchased by the city. Tremonton is in the process of purchasing Caterpillar Patrol from Jay Dee Harris for $6,500. Ephraim visiting their son and Mr. and Mrs. daughter-in-law- , Max Hales and family. Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Manning and family were Mr. and Mrs. Owen Howard, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Howard and family of Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Manning of Garland, David Howard and daughter, Sue Ann, of Napa, Calif. Word has been received by family members that former Logan LDS temple president E. W. Heaton has been appointed as director of the Visitors center in Independance, Mo. where he and his wife the former Vida are of Garland Manning fulfilling an LDS mission. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ashby entertained at a family party at their home Monday evening in Marvins compliment to parents Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Ashby of Fielding who were observing their golden wedding anniversary on Tuesday April 16. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Ashby of Wellsville, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ashby, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Burgess, Mr. and Mrs. Coy Ashby of Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Me Neely of Brigham City and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bair of Clearfield. A delicious chicken dinner was ' ' - enjoyed followed by a social Bridal Shower Miss Linda White, daughter of President and Mrs. James White, was honored at a miscellaneous bridal shower at the home of Merlin Romer in Tremonton Saturday evening with Vickie Anderson, Annette Bair, Trudy Okada and Jody Litchford as Close girl friends of Linda and their mothers were guests. Games were played followed by dainty refreshments. Linda who will become the bride of Alan James of Logan on May 30 received many lovely and attractive gifts. Linda White and Alan James of Logan spent the weekend Lindas parents visiting President and Mrs. James White and family. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bair, and daughter, Angela, of Clearfield and Laurin Ashby, of USU, spent Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ashby and family. Mr. and Mrs. Don Limb spent Sunday in Laketown visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ray Evans and family. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. John A. Evans in Malad Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Evans. Cheri Swartz and Cathy Limb, students at USU spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Don Limb. Mrs. Jack Limb entertained at a party at her home Thursday evening in compliment to her husband who was observing his birthday anniversary. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Dwane Forsberg, and daughter, Denise, and son, Guy of Roy, Mr. and Mrs. Don Limb and daughter Carol of Garland. ' New graduate Marine Pvt. Kevin M. He, husband of the former Miss Ethel Wood of Corinne, Utah, graduated from the Combat Engineer school at the Marine Corps base in North Carolina. Willard Reports Wards have Overnight Guests Overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Watts were daughter and Karen and Paul Rash and children Maren, Davis and Lynn Marie from Denver, Colo. The family were in Utah to attend the wedding of Elden Bingham and Sheri Fowers in the Salt Lake LDS temple Friday morning and the reception in Hooper Friday night. They also visited with Karens sister an brother-in-laLeona and Miles Allred and four daughters in Ogden. son-in-la- programs for Easter by Madge H. Watts Ogden and Provo. The two Willard wards held programs Sunday morning with music and speakers depicting the meaning Easter of Easter. In the Willard ward speakers were Craig Woodland, Mary Perry and Jeanine Widdison. All was by the music congregation. In the Willard Second ward speakers were Bruce Perry, Lowell Lemon, and Billy Clausen. Music included a quartet by Donna Ball, Karen Ball, Gary Huckaby and Douglas Parsons, accompanied by Ruth Lemon on the organ and Karla Parsons on the piano, and congregational singing. The Willard Lions club sponsored an Easter egg hunt for children under 12 years old. The event originally scheduled for Saturday morning was postponed until Monday night because of the weather. Besides the Lions club prizes and gifts were furnished by the Willard City council and many merchants and individuals in the area. Josco and Hugo the clowns circus and their 1974 all-streview presented a program at the Willard ward cultural hall Thursday night. The program was sponsored by the Willard school PTA. The included program juggling acts, comedy magic, a ventriloquist, a lady comedian, the cycling Hujos and an acrobatic contortionist. All the members of the troup are from Entertainment Visitors Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Braithwaite were Hack H. Braithwaite from Vancouver, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard L. Hartley and sons, Leonard Jr., Douglas and Billy, and daughter Bonnie, from Boise. Speakers at the Willard ward Sacrament, April 7 were Francis and Emmeline Braithwaite. Special music was presented by Sherri, Susan and Alan Braithwaite accompanied by their sister Diane Braithwaite. They are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Garth Braithwaite of Brigham City. Also attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Claude Warner from Orem. Visiting in Willard on Sunday and attending services in the Willard ward were Mr. and Mrs. Gunner Ingermanson, now of Ogden, formerly of Salinas, Kan. They visited with Dorothy and David Call. Mrs. Ingermanson is Dorothys mothers sister. Kent and Cally Nebeker hosted a family dinner at their home on Easter Sunday. Guests included Byron and Helen Nebeker, Lavell and Alice Larsen and three children from Willard, and Lorin and Barbara Stowell from North Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Johnson entertained family members at a birthday dinner for their son, Cory, whose birthday was on Easter Sunday. Robert and Barbara Kelly from Camerillo, Calif, visited with Barbaras parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Kunzler. They and their sister, Joyce Mathews from Perry accompanied their parents to the Ogden LDS temple Tuesday night for the Willard ward temple excursion. Elmer and Fern Perry visited with family members in Willard. While here they attended the Ogden temple in Tuesday night with Mary Perry and Wendell and Lena Hubbard. Mrs. Eldon Watts was luncheon guest at the Ramada Inn in Ogden on Friday with her sisters, Mrs. James quick from Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Vernon Schofield from Ogden, and her daughter, Mrs. Miles Allred from Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wells are at home in Willard.
