Overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Glade Timothy Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Max Flinders of Ogden. Sunday they all attended a dinner party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Timothy in Logan. The occasion was the birthday anniversaries of Glade and Kenneth Timothy. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Marriott Monday were their son and daughter-in-laMr. and Mrs. Karl Marriott and family Birthday club meets at local home by Flo Munion The Garland Birthday club met at the Home of Zina Marriott Wednesday evening. Special guests were Virginia Now land of Ogden, Dorothy Taylor of Brigham City, Marva Mason and daughter Debbie of Plymouth, Arlene Hales of Tremonton, Helen Marriott and Edna Hyer of Garland. A delicious luncheon was served and the evening spent playing bunco. Prizes went to Hanna Davis, Mercy Madsen and Meri Meyer. Guest prizes went to Debbie Mason, Helen Marriott and Edna Hyer. Election of officers for the coming year took place. Flo Munson will serve as president and Zina Marriott as secretary. The Tremonton-Garlan- d Fun club met with Edith Timothy as hostess Thursday evening. Gail Jensen was a special guest. A delicious hot luncheon was enjoyed followed by a social and handiwork. Mr. and Mrs. William Perraultand daughters Jan and Becky and son Jim left Friday for their home in San Jose, Calif, after spending the past week visiting Mrs. Perraults parents Mr. and Mrs. George R. Light refreshments were ser hear sentences Donald Hudson Sheffield Donald, Hudson Sheffield, 66, 610 South third East Brigham City, died Sunday evening of a heart attack. He was born Aug. 11, 1907 at Brigham City, a son of Charles N. and Lula Hudson Sheffield. He married Chloe Osborn, June 11, 1926 at Preston, Idaho and was later the marriage solemnized in the Logan LDS temple. He graduated from Box Elder High school and Brigham Young university. He taught school at Bear River High school for 10 years and was associated with his father in the operation of the Sheffield Grocery Store until 1955 and since that time has taught school in the Ogden School district until his retirement in 1973. Hun-sake- Clark Peterson r, Sixth-Elevent- Clark Peterson Clark Otte Peterson, Relia Dolores Stringhom Dolores Stringham Dolores Kinnbrough Stringham, 69, Brigham City, died Tuesday in a Provo hospital of natural causes. She was born Aug. 20, 1904 in Manti, the daughter of John Hunter and Eliza Schears Kinnbrough. She was married to George Glenn Stringham, March 26, 1921, in the Manti LDS temple. He died Jan. 9, 1955. She was reared in Manti, and had lived in Brigham City since She had been a former telephone operator at Bushnell General hospital and Mountain Bell Telephone Brigham City officer before her retirement. She was a member of the Brigham City Third LDS ward. Survivors include two sons and one daughter, Laird C. Stringham, Brigham City; Don K. Colorado Stringham, Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Harold (Margaret) Blanch, Ogden, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the Olsen Funeral chapel, Second North and Main, where friends may call Thursday, 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday prior to services. William Ray Humphery, 25, of 5363 South 2000 West, Roy, $150 and 90 days, the jail term to be suspended upon completion of one years probation. In other court action, William L. Seber, 18, of 36 North Third East, was fined $50 for reckless driving. John Ernest Jensen, no age or address listed, was fined $75 and sentenced to 30 days for petit larceny. The court ordered the jail term suspended upon completion of six months probation. LaVere J. Larson, 25, of 144 West Third South, Hyrum, was fined $150 for carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle. Rafael Reyes, Jr., no age or address listed, was fined $100 and sentenced to 30 days for possession of a controlled substance.
