Both curtains are set at 8 p.m. on the third floor of the First Security Bank building. The plays will continue for a month, one each Friday and Saturday. The western will play Feb. 15 and 22, and finish on March 2. February 16 and 23, and March 1 will see Cactus Flower performances. Appearing in Deadwood Dick are Alacia Underwood, Vickie Hunsaker, Richard Curtis, Cory Sackett, John Osburn, Chet Pussy, Anne Smith, Mac Edwards, David Palmer, Cherie Hansen, Jane Gorman, D. D. Pace, Bart Wiscombe and Drew Benson. The comedy cast includes Kenny Cook, Patti Clark, Christi Deakin, Mac Edwards, Colleen Collins, Sterling Bennett and Jeff Cox. Tickets are available at $1.50 and $1 prices. Patrons may call at ahead 723-853- 3 during daylight hours on weekdays for reserved center section seats. Woman receives title as 'Military Wife of Year The wife of a former Brigham City man was selected as Madigan Army Medical centers Military Wife of the Year 1974 at Ft. Lewis, Wash. Mrs. Charles (Loa) Andersen, who is the director of the Ft. Lewis Child Care center, received the award and is now among nominations for the national title. Her husband, Major Charles Andersen is the son of Floyd and Lola Andersen, 350 South Second East, Brigham City. Major Andersen is chief resident of the Dept, of Surgery at Madigan Army Medical center. home. Mrs. Andersen is involved in many aspects of life. Her major interest outside the child care center is the Pearl Buck Foundation and its work with the children fathered by the American servicemen in Asia. It is through the Foundation that Dr. and Mrs. Andersen are adopting their daughter. Mrs. Andersen was born in Reading, Calif, and received her bachelor of science degree in education from Brigham Young university. She later did graduate work in Hayward and also at BYU. The Andersens have a two and a son, Brian at California State Changes Center The Ft. Lewis Child Care Center staff describes Mrs. Andersen as "a very dynamic lady who has been largely responsible for changing the Ft. Lewis Child Care Center from a place where children hated to come to the warm, loving and is it place enriching today.. .where the children cry, Mommy, I dont want to go The Knights of Columbus of St. Henrys Catholic church have scheduled their annual Fun Nite, Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Eagles lodge, 912 North Main. The event will start at 8 p.m., according to Joe Gurrister, publicity spokesman. Tickets cost $4.50 per person and are available from any Knight. Mrs. Andersen is involved in new dimensions of child development and is currently writing a book on the subject. She has had one childrens book published. New supervisors named in conservation district As a result of recent elections, two new supervisors have been elected to the Northern Utah Soil Conservation district announced Carl Rhodes, SCD chairman. The new supervisors are Junior Okada of Penrose and Dale Allen of Tremonton. They will serve with Rhodes, Maurice Reeder of Corinne, and Earl Fuhriman of Tremonton in directing activities of the Soil Young Farmers name officers The Box Elder Young Far- mers chapter had their annual banquet Saturday night at the Red Baron restuarant and new officers were elected. They are: Kenny Davis, president; Kent Jeppesen, vice Jack president; Bank, Bank of Brigham City, Brigham Truck Security and Implement Thompsons Burt, secretary, and Sid Norman, reporter. Outgoing officers were: Roger Burt, president; Kenny Davis, vice president; Curtis Christensen, secretary, and Kent Jeppesen, reporter. A smorgasbaord dinner was served. Merrill Fox, Young Farmers state president, and his wife were special guests. A report was given on the Young Farmers state tour to Vernal by Roger Burt. Delwin Mills also gave a report on the Young Farmers national tour in Indianna. Manager named for firm Door Prizes Door prizes were given to those in attendance. Richard J. Andersen . . . new manager Wiggins, Taylor and Baugh this week announced the recent addition to the firm of Richard J. Anderson, CP. Conservation district out-goin- a EARLY MORNING WRECK This southbound sedan smashed into the light pole pictured here at Eleventh South and Main early Sunday morning injuring four juveniles. They were treated and released from Cooly Memorial hospital this week. The force of impact is shown here in the front end of the automobile which was pulled away from the light pole by a wecker. Two Brigham City ambulances were dispatched to the scene of the crash. Money missing from station Brigham City police continued an investigation this week into the theft of about $200 from a local service station. The money was taken from the office of Dicks Texaco at Second South and Main, Jan. 29. No arrests have been made, and the money is still missing. He accepted a position with Arthur Andersen & Co., the largest international firm of certified public accountants, in the Los Angeles, office. He attained the level of experienced supervising senior in the small business division where he had responsibility for certified audits, preparation of tax returns and management and tax counseling. He left Arthur Andersen & Co. and established his own CPA practice in his home town of Whitter, Calif, early in 1973, but terminated his practice and moved to Utah for family health reasons on the advice of his sons physician. Anderson was a member of the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce, the Whittier Area Businessman's association, LDS Professional Businessmans Association of Southern California, California Society of C.P.A.s and the American Institute of C.P.A.s. Following his return from the Canadian mission in 1966, he married the former Judith E. Schooley. They are the parents of four children Andrea, David, Michael and Matthew. They currently reside at 707 Eliason avenue. and providing technical assistance to the private landowners within the district. The new supervisors were welcomed at a dinner meeting g honoring supervisors Richard Harris of Elwood and Jay Bourne of Belmont and their wives. At the same meeting the SCD board was reorganized for 1974.
