She was born March 26, 1885, in Providence, (Cache county) to Andrew Jacob and Anna A Elizabeth Tobler Bissaguer. She was married to John Edward Lower on April 2, 1913, in Logan. He died April 10, 1972. She had resided in Trenton for most of her life. Survivors include a son and daughters. Bud E. Lower, Trenton; Mrs. June Richardson, Mrs. Gene (Mildred) Clark, both of Brigham City; five grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Aaron (Lillie) Crow; Mrs. Ed (Tobe) Greenwell, both of Josephine Greenwood Josephine Pearl Selman 80, Greenwood, Goring Tremonton, died Sunday in the Valley hospital of natural causes. She was born July 10, 1893 in Kanesville, Weber county, to Ruth Mark and John Wheelwright Selman. She was married to John Henry Goring Oct. 4, 1914 in Salt Lake City. He died. She was married to Edmond 0. Greenwood. He died Mar. 4, Austin Larsen 1950. She had been employed as a cook and a caterer. She was a member of the LDS church. Surviving are two sons, F. William Goring of Tremonton, John H. Goring of San Diego, Calif.; six grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, John Harold Selman, Tremonton; Jessie Dee Selman, Deweyville; Mrs. Ryland (Anna) Carter, Wasco, Calif.; Mrs. Francis (Emma) McCuskey, of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Eugene (Mariam) Thompson of Corinne. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at Rogers Mortuary chapel in Tremonton. Burial was in the Ogderi City cemetery. Josephine Greenwood Andersen Mrs. Mildred Mae Anderson Andersen, 71, of Garland, formerly of Bear River City, died Saturday at her home of cancer. Mrs. Andersen was born Aug. S, 1902, in Bear River City, a daughter of Carl David and Maren Hansine Knudsen Anderson. She was reared and educated in Bear River valley. She was married to Christian Hald Andersen on June 29, 1923, in Ogden. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS temple on May 12, 1964. She had lived in Bear River City and recently moved to Garland. She had resided in Mesa, Ariz., the past seven winters. . She was a charter member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She had worked for the Box Elder Board of Education in Bear River City as head cook for many years. She was a member of the LDS church and had served as a member of the Primary and MIA presidencies. She had also been a Relief Society visiting teacher and member of the Singing Mothers and ward choir in Bear River City ward. Surviving are her husband of Garland; four sons and two daughters, Ronald C. Andersen, Moses Lake, Wash.; Leland S. Andersen, Bear River City; Wayne Andersen, Richfield; Glade Andersen, Hyrum; Mrs. Rulon (Renee) Hansen, Mesa, Wash.; Mrs. Erroll (Suzanne) Bowcutt, Garland; 31 grandfive children; greatgrandchildren; one brother, Mervin Anderson, Ogden. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday in the Bear River ward chapel. Burial was in Bear River City cemetery. Matthew Hansen d Matthew Ross Hansen, son of Gerald R. and Sharon Farr Hansen of Salt Lake City, choked to death Sunday. He was born, Aug. 27, 1970, in' Salt Lake City. His parents are members of Holladay Seventh ward in Salt Lake City. Survivors include his parents, three-year-ol- from Utah State university. He had taught in Box Elder county schools for 43 years and had taught in Howell and Harper Ward and was principal of Mantua school for many years. He had been a teacher at Box Elder Junior High school before retiring nine years ago. William Silvester Mildred A. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Logan. Burial was in Trenton City cemetery. He attended Brigham Young college in Logan and graduated William Silvester Mildred Andersen Ogden. Austin A. Larsen, 75, of 130 First East, a prominent retired educator and church worker, died at his home Saturday evening of a heart ailment. He was born Aug. 18, 1898, in Mantua, a son of Alexander A. and Twentena Jensen Larsen. He married Nellie Mae Turner on Aug. 9, 1919, in Logan. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple. She died Nov. 7, 1973. South William 70, Silvester, Riverside, died Thursday at his home of natural causes. He was born Aug. 16, 1903, in Plymouth, a son of Fredrick and Alvira Bigler Silvester. He married Alice Lenore Hess on Sept. 22, 1926, in Brigham City, The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS temple. He was reared and educated in Bear River valley and lived to in Plymouth, moving Riverside in 1936. He worked for the Box Elder County Road department for 16 yars and Germer, Abbott and Waldron Construction company for 13 years. He was a high priest in the Belmont Third ward where he served as a home teacher and Sunday school teacher. He served as MIA superintendent in the Riverside ward. Surviving are his widow of Riverside; four sons and two daughters, Clarence F. Silvester, Kyle Silvester, both of Layton; William H. Silvester, Bountiful; Ned H. Silvester, Riverside; Mrs. Ray L. (Peggy Ann) Justesen, Moses Lake, Wash.; Mrs. Albert E. (Sandra) Birks, Granger; 25 grandthree greatchildren, grandchildren, five brothers, and six sisters, Ed Silvester, Tremonton; Dan Silvester, Mrs. Vi Udy, Mrs. Van (Marie) Petersen and Mrs. Nina Archibald, all of Ogden; Wendell Silvester, Kaysville; Allen Dale Silvester, Promontory; sisters, He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Utah State Teachers association and past president of the Box Elder Teachers association. He was past president of the Sons of Utah Pioneers and a former member of the Brigham City Lions club. Active in the LDS church, he served as ward clerk in Mantua ward and was Box Elder Stake clerk for 17 years. He had been a member of the Box Elder Stake High council for five years. He and his wife served a He Cumorah mission in 1964-6had taught classes in Sunday school, MIA and priesthood. Marilee Napoli and three friends who are with the Nursing Program at BYU in Provo were in Tremonton Friday to watch the operation of a dyalisis machine as part of their study. Marilee remained and she and her sister Denise were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Napoli in Ogden. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. George Napoli and Kathy Perez accompanied Marilee back to Provo to resume her studies. Richard and Ward Homecoming The Tremonton Sixth Ward held their annual homecoming evening. The Tremonton Womens Civic league met at the Senior Citizen lounge with Mrs. LaRene Napoli as hostess.
