Leaders and troop committee members will meet for roundtables for the first .portion, of the session, and will take turns acting as hostesses and providing nursery help. The first such meeting is slated for Monday, Jan. 29. Service Team New positions on the Box Elder service team have also been announced during the reorganization plans, with Mrs. Evelyn Adams to continue as secretary for the neighborhood. Other service team members include Manon Russell, training Coordinator, Betty Aubrecht, . camp promotor and equipment manager, JoAnne Flack, troop Sarah Yates, organizer, Brownie consultant; Mary Coleman, junior consultant; Evelyn Dawson, cadette con- Legion Auxiliary Meet on Monday sultant. Area Leaders Approximately 300 girls are involved in Girl Scouting in Box Elder county and there are 62 registered adults including the service team leaders, and ' troop Committee members. ' Brownie leaders are Dorothy and f American Legion Auxiliary will meet on Monday, Jan. 22, at 7:30 p.m. at the War Memorial home. The meeting is under the legislative and government committee, and guest speaker will be Box Elder County Commissioner Malcolm Young. Two musical numbers are also included on the program, with Jane Ferry to perform a piano solo and Syd Star ley to play the guitar and sing. All members are urged to be present. All members are urged to be present for the meeting. Fielding Woman Gets Top Homemaker Title Mrs. James E. (Tefcs) Hess of Fielding has been selected as Young Homemaker of the Year by the Bear River chapter of Utah Young Homemakers and will compete for statewide honors during the state convention held at the Ramada Inn in Salt Lake City Feb. Tess is the mother of three sons and one daughter. She and 2-- her husband their adore children and center their lives around them. Great-grandparen- ts Holiday Trip Joining their daughter for son-in-la- and their holiday vacation from teaching school were Mr. and Mrs. Leo J. Meacham of Brigham City, who to travelled Madison, Wisconsin, to spend the time with Dallas and Dorene Petersen. They left on Christmas morning and travelled through Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa and Illinois and found that roads both ways were clear and dry except for a short stretch through Wyoming and Utah on their return. While in Madison they visited the capitol building, shopped at some of the lovely new shopping malls, and spent the majority of their time just enjoying being with their daughter and for a nice visit. Party Box Elder Neighborhood of Girl Scouts of America will begin the new year with a new organization headed by Mrs. Shirley Kilminster, who took over the reins of neighborhood chairman duties from Mrs. Manon Russell after she term of completed her two-yeoffice in December. In assuming the top neighMrs. borhood position, Kilminster brings along many years of scouting experience ranging from Brownie and Junior leader up through several positions on the neighborhood level. They drove first to Mesa, Arizona, and Lillian stayed at the of home Theron and Lee Charlotte in Mesa, visiting with a cousin at Apache Junction also. Miss Rowe is a graduate of Box Elder High school and of Weber State College, where she was affiliated with Tau Theta Nu. She is presently teaching at Kino Junior high school in Mesa. He is presently employed in Scottsdale. lota Chapter Holds Meeting Iota Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa society for teachers met on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at the home of Mrs. Paul Merrell. Business meeting for the evening was conducted by Mrs. Don Carlson, president of the local chapter. Plans were made to entertaining the Gamma chapter from Ogden on Feb. 10 at a local function. Program time for the meeting was turned over to Dr. and Mrs. S.L. Moskowitz, who presented a very interesting travelogue on their recent journeys to the Holy Lands and some other areas. They showed colored slides and gave a fascinating commentary on their travels and impressions of the lands visited.
