' Temple Rite Weds Pair Rites performed Nov. 8 in the Salt Lake LDS temple united Miss Kathleen Petersen and Ronald J. Clark in marriage, with Elder Hartman Rector officiating in the solemn ceremonies. A reception honored the couple that evening at the LDS Indian chapel in Brigham City. The couple was also feted at a dinner at the Lion House in Salt Lake City following the wedding. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Norman R. Petersen of The City. Brigham bridegroom is a son of Vera Clark of Provo and J. Sylvester Clark of Payson. Bridal Gown For her wedding and reception, the bride wore a h gown of peau de soie in a princess line with a three-inc- h ruffle around each shoulder. A similar ruffle also trimmed the neckedge and bottom of the sleeves. A short veil was attached to a cluster of satin flowers in the headpiece, and she carried a bridal bouquet of white daisies with pink sweetheart roses and baby breath to complete her ensemble. The wedding party stood in front of a Grecian pillar setting with rich blue and green drapings touched with floral arrangements. He attended Utah State university and completed a mission for the LDS Church in Texas. The couple has set Jan. 5 as their wedding date in the Honeyville LDS ward chapel, with a reception to follow. After the wedding the couple plans to reside in Honeyville, where the bridegroom is employed in farming and the bride will continue her studies in beauty college. Miss Roxanne Lee and Carl Bingham have circled Jan. as their wedding date, with a reception to follow the ceremony. A Dinner Meeting The Box Elder County Womens Legislative council will hold their annual Christmas dinner meeting at the Red Baron restaurant, Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the lower banquet room. Dr. Phyllis Snow, Dean of the College of Family Life, Utah State University, will be the guest speaker. She has chosen the topic of national interest: "Equal Rights for Women amendment Dr. Snow received her degree in foods and nutrition from the University of Utah. She taught in Jordan and Salt Lake districts. Her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees were received from Cornell University where she also served on the faculty as assistant associate and professor professor in her chosen field. They cruised during the night and anchored at piers during the day where they toured the Islands, shopped, enjoyed swimming in the beach etc. They report the various foods they ate were exotic, the weather was between 80 to 95 degrees.
