Our MIA group left home Tuesday evening and traveled to five wards in the Garland area. Wednesday evening we were favored first before the group left for Snowville and the Howell ward where the groups were judged by members of the stake and wards. Our group won top honors right down the line for their M. White, 62, of 480 North Fifth East, Brigham City, died Monday afternoon at McKay hospital in Ogden of a heart attack. He was born Nov. 13, 1910, in Milan, Ind., a son of James and Mary Rupp White. He married Bettejane Davis on April 24, 1948, in Coeur DAlene, Idaho. He was born July 3, 1896, in Star Valley, Wyo., a son of Francis Carter and Mary Jane Coleman Meacham. He married Celia Dean Wixom in Burley, Idaho, on July 26, 1927. The marraige was later solemnized in the Logan LDS temple. She died Oct. 26, 1968. He had lived in Yost for the past 42 years and was a prospector. He was active in the Yost LDS ward and was a high priest. Surviving 'are the following sons and daughters: Donald F. Meacham, Provo; Rulon W. Meacham, Las Vegas, Nev.; Joel L. Meacham, Yost; Mrs. Don (Verna) Montgomery, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Don (Connie) Petersen, California; Lewis Mrs. (Colleen) Etherington, Layton; Mrs. Paul M. (Ruth Ann) Schmidt, Ogden; 29 grandchildren. :Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Parley Meacham, Paul, Idaho; Theo Meacham, Mrs. Sylvia Randall, both of Burley, Idaho; Mrs. Erma Winn, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
