Students attending the school, one of 27 being held throughout the U.S., will receive training in swimming, lifesaving, first aid and basic small craft safety. The curriculum combines courses, lectures and seminars with actual practice and application of skills learned. To qualify for the school, students must be at least 17 years old, be a better than average swimmer and be as approved medically physically fit. Further information and application forms may be obtained from the local Red Cross office.
