Two attend the University of Utah, another LDS Business college and the fourth is a student at Cottonwood High school. They have been together for five years and have appeared in all parts of Utah and in October, they performed in Las Vegas. One of their members, Bob Evans, returned from an LDS mission to Brazil in July. The Towne Criers sing a variety of music, including folk, jazz and light rock. winter party this evening (Thursday) with a stage program featuring the Towne Criers. The monthly judging is of the department of communications at Brigham Young university. More than 50 weekly newspapers in Utah are analyzed each month. The judging is based on effective use of hadlines and text typography, placement and handling of stories and illustrations, Elder Journal, as third place of the Month and reproductions.
