Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 7, 1977 in the Layton Eighth Ward Chapel. Bishop Allan Foxley officiated. THE family prayer was given by Farrell Lewis. The prelude and postlude music was furnished by Mary Jen- RUTH RUDD sen. A Mrs. Ruth Marie Lewis Rudd. 53. of 769 East 900 North, Layton, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 1977 at her home of cancer. double trio sang a special number. SHE WAS bom Nov. 12, 1924 in Malad, Idaho, a daughter of George P. and Jane McKay Lewis. On July 1, 1943, she married Clifford Rudd in Brigham City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. MRS. RUDD had been employed as the Layton City Court clerk. She resided in St. John, Idaho for 18 years and in Ogden for six years before mov- THE invocation was offered by David George Lewis; Bishop Darrell Lewis was the first speaker; Tommy Stuart played an organ solo, Til Walk With God; the second speaker was Judge Douglas L. Comaby. Shelly Lewis sang "How Great Thou Art. She was accompanied by Colleen Garfield. Bishop Allan Foxley gave remarks; Randy Lewis spoke the benediction. PALLBEARERS were David George Lewis, Terry Lewis, Tom Barnes, Randy Lewis, Steve Lewis and Dennis Johansen. Interment was in the Plymouth Utah Cemetery. SHE WAS a member of the Layton Eighth LDS Ward where she had served as a Sunday School teacher, a MIA teacher, a stake MIA advisor and MIA stake secretary and LDS Mission Call He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Neville of Kaysville.
