They visited in Pomona, California with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Evan "Mecham and children, Jason and Stephanie prior to catching the tour on June 8. They visited in Mexico City and on to the Yucatan where they stayed at Merida and on to Taxco and Acapulco and then California. They enjoyed the ruins and pyramids and other interesting ways of Mexico living. Mrs. Mr. and Lynn Niederhauser entertained at a family Fathers Day dinner at their home on Sunday, June Mrs. Sheffield Lydia recently underwent major eye surgery. She is reported to be doing well. Returning from a ten-davacation trip to California is Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Parrish and daughter Miss Dorothy Parrish. y Mr. and Mrs. Parrish drove to Palo Alto, California where they met their daughter Dorothy who has been attending Stanford University there. They vacationed along the California and Oregon coast and visiting with her sister and brother-in-laMr. and Mrs. Melvin Metcal at Portland. Dorothy will be spending the summer months with her parents before returning to California this fall to continue her studies. The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Lefler is confined to the Primary Childrens Hospital in Salt Lake City where he is awaiting major surgery. Mrs. Lucy Barker entertained the ALonas Club at her home Tuesday evening. Bishop and Mrs. F. Burton Winters and family returned home from a vacation trip for one week. They were guests of his sister and family, Bishop and Mrs. Larry Call and family from Afton, Wyoming on a boating trip to Lake Powell. On their return home, they stopped in Provo to attend the FflpirD AH family reunion of Bishop Winters family, the children of President and Mrs. E. Francis Winters with 35 family members in atten- dance. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Neal have been vacationing for two weeks in California. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Meiners returned home from a vacation trip to California. They flew to California and visited with two of their sons and one daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Donnis Meiners and family at Ojai and with ofa daughter Miss Lily Meiners Ventura and with another son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Mvron Meiners at San Jose. While there, Mrs. Meiners had the misfortune of falling and injuring her leg.
