On Oct. 14, 1932, she married Allen Lovell in the Manti LDS Temple. Florence 425 West 825 North, Sunset died June 23, 1977 in a Salt Lake City hospital of natural causes. MRS. DECKER was born SHE HAD been a sales executive with the Direct in Dombey2 Oklahoma to Jacob Stebens and revena Miller Stebens. Married Raymond Decker, August 18, 1954 in Lordsburg, 1921 16, Sales Ladies Lingerie Company. She had lived in Oak City; Caliente, Nev., Sunset and Clinton. She graduated from Delta High School and was a member of the Clinton 3rd LDS Ward. She had been president of the Primary in Caliente, president of the New Mexico. She graduated from high school in Adams, Oklahoma and moved to Sunset in 1961. are her SURVIVORS hus- band, Sunset; sons, Steven, Sunset; Raenell Hearld, Lay-to- daughter, PALLBEARERS were Myron Milsap, Robert Burden, Donald Shumway, counselor m the Relief Society in the Sunset Ward. She had been a member of the Relief Society stake board, a teacher in all auxiliaries and active in genealogy work. . NAOMI DECKER Douglas Stoddard, Euland Zecher and Morris Nattress. Care of the flowers was by Lindquists Bountiful Mor- tuary. INTERMENT was in the Ft. Douglas Cemetery. Louis King Rites Held Louis William King, 62, of 195 King Street, Layton, died Thursday, June 23, 1977 at the Davis North Medical Center of a heart attack. He had been ill for an extended period of time. MR. KING was bom May 15, 1915 in Layton. He was a son of William Andrew and Chestina Phillips King. On May 29, 1936, he married Venice Dallof in Ogden. HE WAS a lifelong resident of Layton and a member of the LDS Church. Mr. King had worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps, the Ellison Ranching Company in Nevada, at Pillsbury Mills and the Rasmussen Grain Company. For many years he was the custodian at the Layton Elementary School. He had also been a farmer. M. King, Green; Dorthy May Lovell, Salt Lake City. To Serve Mission Word was received here last week of the sudden death of a former Layton resident, Alan Boyd Whitesides, 52 who died June 11, 1977 in Houston, Texas of a heart attack. In France MR. WHITESIDES was bom July 18, 1924 in Layton, a a son of Lewis Paul and Blood Whitesides. He married Billye Jenkins. Was a retired Military officer, retiring as a Lt. Colonel after 23 years of military service. He was a member of the LDS Church. Flder Brad Hess mission farewell was held Sunday June 26 in the Kaysville 4th Sep-temm- LDS Ward Chapel. ELDER Hess has been called to serve a two year LDS mission to the French-ToulousMission. He will enter the mission July 14. He graduated from Davis High School where he was active in many of the functions and activities. e SURVIVING are his wife and one son Bill Alan both bl one Texas; Houston, Lynn Margo daughter, Whitesides, Los Angeles, Stephen Calif.; HE PLAYED center on Davis High football team, was artist and cartoonist for the Davis Dart newspaper, member of debate and forensic teams and the forensic team took second place in the state, served as vice president of the Kaysville Seminary and attended Boys State. Mr. Swanger died June 21, 1977 of cancer in Phoenix, Ariz. HE 1914 WAS born January 28, in Kaysville, a son of Ira James and Elizabeth Wayne Swanger. He was educated in the Kaysville schools and a graduate of Davis High School. He had been a lifelong employee for the Clover Club Foods Company. Community Church The Stitch and Chat Circle of the Layton Community Church met at Mrs. Opal Furmans home in Kaysville on Tuesday morning, June 28.
