English Students Davis Cleai field 1 REFLEX Layton Poppy Day will be observed throughout the nation next Saturday, May 25, to salute Americas war dead by wearing a veteran-made replica of Flanders Field of World War 1 fame. The Layton American Legion Auxiliary Unit 7 will take part in selling BiM.OOO poppies made this year by our veteians throughout the country, woiking in hospitals and convalescent woikroonis. The poppies are purchased from the veterans by the American Legion The Auxiliary in turn will use the money from the poppy sales to finance child welfare and programs for war widows and orphans and for the dependents 'of disabled veterans.
