Clearfield Many students at the Wasatch school are hoping that they will keep real healthy until next Wednesday so that they will not miss any day of school. On that day all 1X percent attendee during the past year will receive a certificate for this accomplishment. The idea of the certificate awards was presented by Mrs. Harold C. Steed, president of the school Association and met with the approval of her board of officers and chairman with school Principal Vern Rampton. This is the first year that they will be presented. Barnes Make It With Wool Show MondayNight Judges for the Davis Kaysville Make It Yourself With County Wool contest Monday night at Davie High were selected at a meeting this week of the Davis Auxiliary. County Woolgrowers They are: Mrs. Golden Layton, Mrs. Aileen Ericksen, Layton; Salt Lake City, director of the Utah State Department of Home Economics, and Mrs. D. Keith Barnes, Kaysville. The contest is scheduled for H p.m. in the high school auditorium. It is open to the public and there is no charge for admission. The contest is presented by the County Woolgrowers Auxiliary in cooperation with Mrs. Muriel Larsen of the Davis High School home economics department. Approxi mately IX) entries are anticipated in the event. The contest has two divisions: junior division for girls between 14 through 17 years of age and the senior division for those from 1H to 22 years of age. A special sub-de- b division for girls between 13 and 15 who wish to enter a separate woolen skirt has been added this year; however, there will be no state competition in this division. County winners in the junior and senior divisions will be eligible to compete in the state finals. The contest is open to all Davis County women in the designated age limits regardless of whether or not they may be attending a school. Entry blanks may be obtained from Mrs. Larsen or Mrs. Clyde Hatch, Bountiful. Many members of the Draper Second ward with whom the Wilson family were associated were present to honor him.
