Reg. to 30 Pol-oske- Group Of JEWELRY Golden Years Banquet Successful The "Golden Years banquet initiated by activities chairman Barbara Bell, of the Rush Valley Ward, has become an annual affair sonal invitations which were made by Julie Haws to match the patch-wor- k for the past five years, and is looked forward to by everyone in the ward. Every resident over 70 in the Rush Vallay area are honored and given special attention on this night. This years committee members: Dalene Russell, Roger Evans, and Camille Sagers arranged for a night to be remembered for the 17 members honored. Family members were sent per table decorations. Bottled fruit centerpieces and old fashioned wooden rolling pins tied with the print and collections of salt and pepper shakers with blue stoneware place settings were arranged by Verla McFarland and Josie Christensen. Young gentlemen waiters decked out in patchwork sleeve garters, and bow ties served the ham dinner to about 180 guests. Elva Mae Russell was in charge of the program. The Rush Valley country gals presented two de sentation "reviewing lifes memories with self portraits along with nostalgic music which kindled thoughts of days for the guests who have been a part of our community for so many years. USU Homemakers Report Meeting The USU Extension Homemakers Club held their regular meeting on April 1 at the Courthouse Auditorium and it was no April Fools program.
