Show CM Scholarship Pageant Nears 1984 Area Obituaries The Miss Tooele County Scholarship Pageant is nearing its exciting climax as 10 of the Countys most talented and beautiful young ladies vie for the crown. The pageant will be staged at the dover High School Saturday, June 23 at 7:30 p.m. and the public is 14, June (Y'Knfrw.w.-j- Kenneth Orvill Rhea Kenneth Orvill Rhea, 71, died June 11, 1984 in Salt Lake City, invited. Connie Rockwell, local dance instructor and choreographer, is the Pageant Production Chairman and she has a long list of talents and experiences to her credit. Connie is active in her church, serving in the Primary organization, as a visiting teacher, and as Stake Dance Director. She is currently on the Board of Directors for the PERC Center. She has spent numerous hours doing volunteer work for organizations in the community, Oquirrh School, and County Fair Committee. To add a little more variety to her life, Connie is part of the Utah Heritage Foundation and conducts tours of historical sites in Salt Lake. She is presently heading a project for the Foundation to bring about a history of the Tooele Schools. She is also a professional tour guide of the Salt Lake Valley. Mr. Rhea was a member of Rocky Mountain F. and A.M. of Tooele, Scottish Rite, York Rite and El Kalab Shrine. The talent segment of the pageant is one of the most important portions of the production as it represents 50 percent of the contestants score. The evening gown competition will finalize the program. The complete course in factory representative will be here at our store to demonstrate and answer questions. food preservation will take all 5 days to cover and will be a hands-o- n workshop, with everyone part- icipating and doing the actual work. The fee is $15 to take the class, but for another $15 you can get 3 credit hours from USU towards college credit.
