Classes Solve Dieting Problems Three problems make losing weight harder for most women than men: unscheduled eating, preoccupation with food and using food to relieve boredom or fatigue. The Utah Heart Associations Slim For Life program can help you conquer all three of these problems. New classes will start in Tooele on June 27. "Is it hard on your diet to spend all day near the refrigerator or fixing snacks for the children? asks Susan Ward, R.D., nutrition director for the Utah Heart Association. "Is it your job to plan and prepare the meals? Do you ever eat for energy or just for something fun to do? If you answer "yes to these questions, the Slim for Life classes can help you lose weight. "Only a few habit changes can make a huge difference in weight, continues Mrs. Ward. "We suggest you eat three full meals every day, and plan the days meals right after breakfast when youre not hungry. We also help our class ing 15 pounds or reaching your weight goal. Both men and women are invited to join the class but the session is limited to 25 people. A minimum of 15 people is necessary to hold the class.
