Mangelson was honored nationally with the John Fitzgerald Gold Shield award for excellence for her work with The Beehive Postmaster in 1999. The USPS issued a stamp honoring military veterans in 2001. Mangelson gathered photos of veterans from Hub-Postmast- Levan who had served in all branches of the military. They are displayed in the lobby of Levan Post Office. With water being our precious resource and starting into our 5th year of drought, the need for conservation and efficiency of its use, are at a premium. It has been determined by the water engineer that the 30 year old irrigation system is operating at a 25 efficiency rate. After investigating different options, it was determined by the City Council, a new irrigation system was the best solution. The system chosen has a 85 efficiency 1 rate, a savings of 60.
