Show Utah News Bureau gives SLC Diabetes Center travel tips, suggestions to remain open, IRMP director says The Utah News Bureau introduced a set of tips for traveling the Mountain West by car, furnished by the travel departments of the western A federal decision to eliminate funds for the Salt Lake d Diabetes Center has been reversed, the Intermountain Regional Medical Program (IRMP), announced today. Stop every 100 miles for gas instead of every 200 miles. 3. Carry several different oil company and or bank credit cards. You may want to shop around a bit. 4. Avoid odd hour travel (10:00 p.m. to 6 a.m.). There wont be as many 24 hour stations this summer. 5. Dont be alraid to travel off the Interstate, youll find special attractions and fuel along alternate routes, too! is 6. Best time to fill-ubetween the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Plan a gas stop for lunch. 7. This is the perfect year to see the Mountain West. Take shorter trips this year.
