Eastland Special Service District, 7 p.m., Eastland Schoolhouse. Trust Lands hire new specialist for area office The School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration has hired Bryan W. Torgerson as Resource Specialist to oversee its Moab office and surface development affairs in southeastern Utah. Kim Christy, Assistant Director for the agencys Surface Group said, Mr. Torgerson will be a great addition to the agency. He is well known and respected in Moab and we look forward to him continuing his relationships and communications with the people in the area. Torgerson has lived in Moab since 2001 and is a current member of the Moab Chamber of Commerce. He received his degree in Business Management from the Southern Utah University and has worked with Wells Fargo Financial in Layton and Moab. The School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration is an independent state agency which manages 3.4 million acres of Utah trust lands for the benefit of Utahs schools and other public institutions.
