DON WASHBURN PALMER December 17, 1949 Don Washburn Palmer, born December 17, 1949 to William Ervin and Klea Washburn Palmer died at his home the morning of September 30, 2004. Don is sur- vived by his wife Patti, his children Todd (Mandi), Bart September 30, 2004 whom he loved more than his own life. Don spent his time on earth in sacrifice for his children and their families always giving of his time and efforts on their behalf. There was nothing Don would not do for the wel- fare (Sheri), D a w n a n and benefit of his family. He loved his , Danny (Amanda), Cole, and Kate. and He is also survived by his the time he cherished brother Ellis spent with them, always making time to give them the attention that all they (Mabel June), sister Nedra (Gordon) and Hatch, brother Philip (Lawana). Don will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren Shaylei, Tavi Joe, Dylan, Payton, Corbin, Lathiel, Delaney, Halli, and Owen Palmer. Don is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Gordon Ervin, Max Washburn, Lyle Clint, and his sister Nadine Bayles. Don lived for his family, especially for his wife Patti, wanted. During the past five years Don served as the bishop of the Blanding First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Don loved the gospel and loved being the bishop. Aside from being a husband and father, this was the most fulfilling calling of his life. She married George Leonard Slavin on August 16, 1932. She lived a long and productive life, touching the hearts and lives of many wherever she went and leaving a legacy of faith and strength with her family. Funeral services were officiated by John Williams, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Monticello, which Inez was instrumental in getting started many years ago and loved for the rest of her life. Interment was beside her husband in the Monticello Cemetery. learner. After retiring, he earned his credentials in Refrigeration Repair and gave generously of his time and experience to many in San Juan County. Frank loved farm- owned his own place of north Blanding, Monticello for their care of our mom during her years here prior to going to the Good Samaritan Care Center in Aztec, NM, where she resided in loving care until her death. We also thank the very good and caring people of Monticello and surrounding area who came with food, flowers, words of (jP he where raised a large garden. He tried to raise chickens, peacocks, and various other poultry, which were eaten by coyotes on a regular basis. Frank loved his family. He was a kind, loving, and tolerant father.
