Every little wide spot and open space has become a camper village. Everyone is dressed in orange (and I dont think they are all MHS Bucks fans!). Unfamiliar (and somewhat scruffy) faces appear in the congregation Sunday morning. One vehicle in the parking lot even had two dead animals atop it. It must be deer season: the regular season, as opposed to the various and sundry other hunting seasons which most of us can not keep track of anymore. One of the best things about the deer hunt in La Sal is the annual bake sale sponsored by the ladies of our local Catholic Church. This has been an annual event for as long as I have lived here. Other individuals and groups have tried to sell eats during deer season, but none compare to the fare put out by these ladies. Clark is a 1995 graduate of Monticello High School. He served an LDS mission in Mexico Tampico. Charlyn graduated from Bonanza High School in 1996 and has been active in student government at Southern Utah University. The newlyweds will continue their education in Cedar City. Following a wedding luncheon at the Country Inn, Soil Districts sponsor workshop Southeastern Utah resi- dents are invited to attend the Four Corners Wealth and Sustainability Workshop, sponsored by local businesses and soil conservation districts. The event, which is expected to draw over 100 people from around the west, will be held on Saturday, November 13 at Echo Basin-GueRanch east of Mancos, Colorado. The workshop will inspire creative thinking, networking, and problem solving concerning the well being of our communities and the sustainable use of human, financial, and natural resources we depend on. Small businesses, new landowners, farmers, ranchers, and community leaders are encouraged to attend.
