Show THE SAN JUAN RECORD Ron Barlow (he works with the Whitehorse winner at quadrangular meet by Leo Platero Saturday in Montezuma Creek, Whitehorse hosted a quadrangular meet. The visitors were kind to their host as Whitehorse scored 106 points, followed by the Monument Valley Cougars at 64, Red Mesa Redskins with 54, and Rock Point Cougars with 19. It was a little closer for the Lady Raiders (62 points) as they edged out Monument Valley (59) and Red Mesa (54). Rock Point did not bring their girls team to the meet. Whitehorse new Head Track Coach Odell Rice, last year at Juab High, is optimistic with his athletes. He says, We have the potential to take many of the kids to State. Weve been improving in the field events each week. Our relay teams will definitely be at state. However, we have to wait for third term grades to come out. Helping Coach Rice is Coach sprinters and hurdlers) and Coach Maile Loo (shot put, discus, and javelin). Besides grade problems, some of the Raiders have joined the National Guard and it seems that Whitehorse has a different look with each meet. However, on Tuesday the Raiders will be at their full strength as they have a dual meet with Grand County Red Devils in Montezuma Creek. This weeks top point getters for the Raiders were Jamie Platero, Nathanial Topaha, EMPIRE ELECTRICS ANNUAL STOCKHOLDER'S MEETING SATURDAY, APRIL 29, 1989 50 th ANNIVERSARY MONTEZUMA COUNTY FAIRGROUND - See Exciting Displays , H By: Club MontezumaDolores Extension Homemakers Southwestern Colorado Cowbelles Dolores County Water Conservancy District Shell Western E & P ine. - and more - and Southeastern Utah.
