He was bom April 4 and will be named Benjamin. Kevin is bursting Names and faces Gail C. Menard has been selected as the Administrative Officer for Natural Bridges National Monument, Arches National Park and Canyon-land- s National Park. Gails career with the National Park Service began in 1980 at Glacier National Park. While there she served as administrative clerk for the administrative officer. Since leaving Glacier, she has served as an administrative officer with the Park Service in Indiana, Montana and Oregon. Gail and her husband, Paul, hunting, fishing and hiking. District wide high school art show begins today The San Juan School District annual spring art show begins today (April 12) and runs through April 14 at the San Juan High cafeteria in Blanding. On display will be the best work of senior high and junior high students. Hanging and judging will begin at 1 p.m. The public is invited to visit the art show during school hours or from 6 to 9 Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Ribbons will be awarded to best entries in paintings, drawings, pottery, sculpture, photography, and jewelry. In addition a Best of Show ribbon and a Peoples Choice ribbon will be selected by visitors vote. John Hagner of Moab will serve as judge. Also he will give an art demonstration and lead a discussion at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the cafeteria. Hagner is president and founder of the Hollywood Stuntmens Hall of Fame in Moab. He worked for over 40 years as a commercial artist before establishing himself as a free lance artist.
