A: Start with your eyes. Low light levels reduce your vision skills and, if you already have an uncorrected vision problem, can make matters even worse. If you havent had a thorough eye examination in a year or more, have your optometrist check out your vision first. Also, try goggles with interchangeable plastic lenses so you can switch to a lighter tint as the sun goes down. Or try e lenses. Yellow lenses might help to heighten light-sensitiv- contrast under flat light conditions. Slow down when skiing under poor light conditions. Also keep your eyes alert and aware by using them properly to help your balance and to avoid collisions.
