Bible Study class was held under the direction of Reverend Wayne Fults. The lesson presented was Controversies in the Temple from the Book of Mark. Scripture references were read aloud by some residents. Resident Council discussion was led by Alice Redd. The topic of discussion was How to Eliminate Defeating Behavior. The class was interesting and a tape was played which provided many absorbing thoughts. We thank the San Juan High School Drama department for a program which included sing- ing and dramatization of scenes from the play Cinderella. The advisor for the group is Jed Lyman. The troupe will also present plays on coping and talking with parents. For a break from the seriousness of the subject, thay also do a play titled What to do on your first date. The Improv Troupe is a group of high school students from Blanding and Monticello who have been trained to councel students about drug and alcohol abuse and the effects those substances have on the body.
