The Association fbr Mormon Councelors and Psychotherapists held a workshop last Saturday at the social services building. This was the first such regional meeting held in this area. Robert Heaton, Aztec, organized the workshop with Bob and Kay Jones functioning as the local planning committee. Participants in the workshop came from as far away as Salt Lake and Farmington. The next meeting wiU be held some time in July. for- - In a meeting Monday with County Attorney, Bruce Halliday, county commissioners authoriz- to prepare ed Halliday resolutions adjusting 1982 budget expenditures and gave Halliday authority to make necessary payments on the Mexican Hat water and sewage projects. Halliday was asked to take legal action against a person who paid property taxes with a bad check and to notify Lawrence Wert of Denver that the county will entertain an offer fbr oil and gas leases on some 160 acres near La Sal Junction. and The commissioners Halliday discussed the proposed county beer ordinance, suggestonce ing that fees be pro-rat- ed the new ordinance is approved. The commission instructed and Gail Dalton, county Halliday clerk,; to take necessary steps to collect the cost of sanity hearings from those who are able to make such payment.
