Show THE SAN JUAN RECORD Thursday, March 4, 1982 - Page 9 FL03EKCE 10 Park wants firewood concessioner National Park Service, Department of the Interior, is seeking a qualified and competent concessioner to sell firewood to the general public at the Devils Garden Campground in Arches National Park, Superintendent Pete Parry has announced. A prospectus has been issued to solicit the widest possible interest in providing the above service and to inform all interested persons or corporations of ' requirements and conditions under which such operations may be conducted. A copy of the prospectus is available from the Superintendent, Canyonlands National Park, The by Florence Galbraith Fifteen scout troops competed in the klondike races held on Blue Mountain last Saturday. In addi- tion to the races, there was a hatchet throwing contest, log sawing, rope throwing and de m on-strati- ons of live-savi- tech- ng niques. Invitations are out for the March 20 wedding reception of Ruth Homedew and Craig Heniger, who will be married March 6 in the Logan LDS Temple. Ruth is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Homedew of Blanding and Craig is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Heniger of Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Craig Redd hosted a birthday dinner last Friday evening for Florence Galbraith. Special guests were Florences husband, Doug, and TTieressa Redd. An elaboratedly decorated cake centered the table. The Relief Society organization of the LDS Church was organized 140 years ago on March 17. Each year this anniversary is observed with a party for wives and husbands, usually with a dinner, a cake decorated in gold and green and a program. FBLA students in all three county high schools will be contacting businessmen this week to remind them of the forum. Both the Monticello and Chambers of ComBlanding merce are assisting with refreshments for the forum. The San Juan Business Council hopes to use the forum as a means of gaining insight into the business needs of the county as well as to assist local business men to solve their problems.
