The monitoring was conducted October 26 thru November 22 with two local units from each state participating in the evaluations. The advertisers ratings are based on the ratio of ad appearance during the monitoring adverperiod. Only heavy tisers were included those 5 or more ads having during the monitoring period. Rated as most distinguished advertisers were: Chrysler, Holiday Inns, and Time. A commendable rating went to Mars, Inc. Considered as good were: General Electric, General Mills, Kellogg, Polaroid, Ralston Purina, Sears Roebuck and Sterling Drug. State law requires that aU individuals under the age of 18 wear helmets while driving or riding as a passenger on a motorcycle. BPD is now planning an enforcement campaign which will be implemented in the near future. A free bicycle registration will be conducted by BPD on June 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Blanding Elementary School. All cyclists who have not had their bicycle registered are urged to take advantage of this free service. There had been a rash of bicycle thefts in the past month. Recovery rate is enhanced when bikes are registered. Also, registration does help discourage theft. Residents of the City of Blanding are reminded that Utah -- 2 and Blanding City Code prohibit the Ordinance use andor possession of sale, any type of fireworks. The only items aUowed are toy pistols, toy canes, toy guns or sparklers. A violation of these laws is a C lass B Misdemeanor.
