Show Activities planned for July 24 full schedule of activities is being planned for the annual Monticello Pioneer over the celebration Days of 24th July. Events will begin with the Pioneer Days Queen contest the evening of Wednesday, July 23, and will include two rodeo performances and a slate of other activities on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 24, 25 and 26. Theme of this years observance is 100 Years of ProA gress. The Pioneer Days queen for 1980 will be selected that Wednesday evening, July 23, at 7:30 p.m. in a pageant at Monticello High School audito- rium. Contestants must be ages 16 through 24 and unmarried. In addition to displaying a talent, each contestant will be asked to appear in a street dress and a formal.
