Annie Butt of Blanding visited the Natural Bridges on Memorial Day. Her son, Calvin Butt, and his wife took her there. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Keele and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Henderson left Friday morning for Salt Lake City to meet their son, Calvin Keele, who had just mission completed a two-ye- ar in Texas from the LDS 6th Ward in Blanding. Wormell and his family. They stopped in Provo, Utah, to visit Becky Williams (their daughter who worked here for awhile) and her three children. While in Provo, Joyce Harp,, another daughter, and her three children and her family met Cecil and Annette. There were 17 family members at dinner Saturday and Sunday. Annette and Cecil brought their home with son's children them: Lisa, 12; Vicki, 8; Teresa, 7; and John, 3 12. for the summer. A busy summer is planned with the cousins visiting back and forth. June 10, Sunday: Ethel Tracy and Alice Adams came after lunch today to visit their mother, Jessie Fox. DeMar Perkins from Mont-icel- lo and two little twin granddaughters, Kaelin and Kisten Perkins, visited John Perkins. Mr. and Mrs. Fox and their two children came to visit Red Cunningham. Mr. and Mrs. "Teek" Lyman from Blanding came to visit all their old friends. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Frost of Monticello and Erma Rans-de- ll of Farmington, New Mexico, came to visit Louie Willis and Rosa Dexter. Wanda Laws came before lunch to visit her mother, Retta Hurst. Organist, A-ly- nn Heidi Slavens; chorister, Larry Brown. June U, Monday: Melvin and Virginia Hurst came to visit his mother, Ret- ta Hurst. On Monday we went on a fun adventure for our Senior Citizens bus ride. We left at 10:30 a.m. and took a ride out to Brown's Canyon, Mustang Road, to see the sego hills. Irene Redd informed us that White Mesa got its name from the hills covered with those same flowers back in early days. The lily-cover- ed bus driver, Wilbur Laws, then drove us to Devil's Canyon campground where we enjoyed a picnic lunch of chicken, baked beans, potato and fruit salad and cake, prepared by Kay Smith, our kitchen supervisor. We plan to have more of these summer outings. Those enjoying the outing were John Perkins, Dewey Clark, Irene Redd, Helen Falconer, Adeline Mollie Poche, Lehi, Yazzi Johnson, Orson Dalton, Lucinda Willis, Kristy Car-roRayburn Jack, Kathleen Lyman and Imogene Pelt. June 12, Tuesday: ll, Cemetery Markers Arid Monuments Scout Troop 311 (1st Ward) brought her Scouts to entertain us. They are: David Eberhard, Dick Butt, Robbie Lyman, Kirkham and Gary James Black. They sang "On My Honor," accompanied by Kathleen Lyman. Sister Betty Earley gave the lesson, a short of the resume life of His His blessed birth, Christ, little taiown childhood of learning carpentry. Most people expected the "Messiah" to come miraculously and didn't accept Christ as the Messiah because He came so normaUy and quietly. He taught by parables, using easily understood examples. Jesus had great compassion and love for aU the people, and He healed many. He blessed the little children. Jesus showed us the Supreme example. We know He was a sinless Man. He lived a perfect life. We are thankful for His gift, the Resurrection. Hymn, "It May Not Be on the Mountain Height." Prayer by Robbie Lyman. The Blazer Scouts' sang another number, "I Am a Child of God." June 13, Wednesday: Mary Atcitty's grandchildren, Susie M. Begay, Dominic Mustache and William Mustache from Moab came to visit her today. June 14, Thursday: For our activity this morning we had a movie, "Toby Tyler." a Walt Disney picture. For our afternoon activi- ty the aides made popcorn. Cindy Redd from Monticello and her little niece, Magan Wolfe, came to visit Irene Redd this morning. Ethel Tracy, Alice Adams and Mae Todd fromMonticello came to Blanding to visit their mother, Jessie Fox. It was her birthday. They brought two lovely cakes. They transferred Jessie to the San Juan Hospital in Monticello.
