He married Nellie Johnson October 8, 1919. He is a veteran of World War I and has been employed as a laborer, in construction and road work during his life. Those ladies who attended Ada Rigby's garden party last week report having an enjoyable time touring her garden and sampling her many fresh garden vegetables. If ever a new strain of vegetable seed comes out on the market, Mrs. Rigby is first to try it. This year she has tomatillos which look like a cross between a tomato and a ground cherry. Rigby was assisted by Mrs. Mrs. Judy Mainord, who is president of the Garden Club. Some of the gardens here look like frost has struck, but most people are still eating out of their gardens.
