Show Garden club 5? enjoys outing By Janet Wilcox 1975 Blanding gardeners met in a shaded cove of the Ada 2, Rigby garden for their September meeting. They were taken on a tour of her interesting and large garden. Mrs. Rigby raised several unique types of plants this year such as rhubarb chard, flowering kale, tomatio, koiiraoi, and garden huckleberries. She also raises a wide variety of herbs and has an extensive tree farm on her acreage. Record , members and guests were served a wide assortment of fresh raw vegetables with a selection of six types of herbed dressings, and bread sticks Club Juan San and punch. President Judy Mainord suggested that club members plan to bring extra flower bulbs for a bulb exchange at the Oc- tober meeting. Muhlestein, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Muhlestein, were married in the lovely Manti Temple on September 5. There were many friends and relatives present to wish them happiness. delicious luncheon in the Temple Cafeteria was hosted by the groom's parents for A those in the wedding party following the ceremony. A reception honoring the newlyweds was held in the San Juan County Library inMonti-cell- o on September 12. The beautiful floral arrangements were created by Mrs. Corinne ' Roring, featuring autumn shades of orange, gold and yellow, the bride's colors. The bride was radiant in her lovely, old-fashio- ned long gown of satin and lace which bridal she made herself. It featured a pointed, empire waistline, full gathered sleeves into elbow-lengt- h, fitted cuffs and a high mandarin collar. The bride carried a bouquet of white rose-bud- s, baby white carnations and whit stephan-oti- s accented with orange satin streamers. The groom wore a semi-form- al suit of autumn brown, as did both fathers, and was attended by friends David Barber and Robert Rex. Acting as maid of honor was sister of the bride, Tamara Harvey. She wore a long gown of peach taffeta, accented with white doves and lots of lace. She carried a bouquet of giant football mums and baby's breath with orange satin streamers. Bridesmaids were Jody Pew, Peggy Whitney, Judy Barton, Lynne Harvey, Muhles Jani and Helen Fuller tein. They were also dressed in long gowns of peach taffeta accented with white doves and each carried one giant orange mum with orange satin streamers. Acting as ushers were brothers of the bride, Bryan, Lance and Richard Harvey and brothers of the groom, Randy and Dan Muhles- tein. They were all, except al Randy, dressed in or casual suits in shades of brown and wore complimenting orange carnation semi-form- boutonnieres. Mother of the bride wore a long gown in rust floral polyester crepe and mother of the groom wore a long gown in peach polyester crepe. The beautiful, three -- tiered wedding cake was created by Louise Harvey, grandmother of the bride. It was decorated with white scrollwork, tiny and white orange rose-budoves between layers and topped with a miniature bride and groom standing under a white arched gateway decorated with tiny orange flowers. The cake was centered between low floral arrangements of orange and white daisies centered with a tall orange candle. The guests were served refreshments at small tables covered with white lace over orange and centered with a large snifter containing a floating orange football mum. The refreshments were Harvest Loaf cake, orange sherbet floats, mints and nuts and were served by cousins of the bride, Ronnie Brown, Mimi Peterson, Lori McDonald, Yvette Riley and Julie Harvey wearing yellow nylon and lace aprons.
