Show The San Juan Record 8 July 24, 1975 FLORENCE Specials By Florence Galbraith Mr. and Mrs. Otto Murphey of Moab were in town Tuesday visiting and renewing old Ham acquaintances. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Rosser of Salt Lake came here recently to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harvey. While here they went to Arizona and visited many points of interest and some friends and relatives. Mrs. Janet Wilcox composed the words for the program. The rendition of Battle Hymn of the Republic was the highlight of the program. These two programs were in remembrance of our Pioneer Day which comes on July 24th on Thursday and is the day when the pioneers entered Salt Lake valley. The Second WardSacrament Meeting Kline and honored Edna Black, who will leave soon for a two-ye- ar mission at the Manti Temple. Kline and Edna both spoke and their son, Klark, sang beautiful music, accompanied by his sister, Mrs. Marlene Nielson on the piano. Klark is a music master, both in singing and in leading groups, and has a beautiful voice. He teaches music. Mrs. Truman Rigby hosted a family party on Sunday for her mother, Mrs. Theressa Redd, whose birthday it was. The group enjoyed ice cream and cake during the afternoon. It was also the Truman Rigbys 27th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Mark Bayles and children came in from their ranch in Colorado to attend the Fourth Ward Primary closing social and program. Mrs. Bayles is a counselor in the $1.59 lb. $1.69 lb. Half Harveys here now. She and Mrs. Harvey are sisters. Mrs. Lunt is also a sister of Gladys her home in Idaho on Wednesday. He will visit with his father, Truman Rigby, Sr., and Western Family Ready to Eat Boneless Whole The Harveys also enjoyed a visit from their daughter, Stella Anderson, the last few weeks. They spent some time riding over the Blue Mountain while Stella was here. Mrs. Etta Lunt of St. George, Utah is visiting the Washington and is a new zone leader. He is very happy with his work. His two years will be up in November. Last summer he served as guide and instructor at the Fair in Spokane. We had the pleasure of meeting him there and saw that he was doing a tremendous job. Recently, Mikes parents had a lovely visit from several of his missionary contacts... Rose Louise Palmer and three children, and Gayle Lent and children of Pocatello, Idaho. They stayed for days and visited many of our outstanding points of interest around here. They think this is great country.
