The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hunt of Blanding. The groom comes from Paradise Valley, Ari- zona, and is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Clifford E. Ernst. Bishop Vincent P. Redd performed the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Ray Hunt. Miss Vicki Lee Nielson was maid of honor, and Mr. Terry Hunt served as best man. Mrs. Jeanne Hunt Redd played the wedding march. Ushers were Mr. Jack Noonan and Mr. John Canann. The bride was lovely in a brocaded gown of ivory color of her own making, trimmed in wide bands of orchid lace. She wore a wide brimmed orchid garden hat with lace streamers matching the trim of her gown. She carried a basket of matching daisies and babys breath, centered by a large orchid. The maid of honor wore a floor length orchid gown trimmed in yellow lace, which matched her hat. She carried a basket of spring flowers. The brides mother wore an orchid colored gown with matching coat and a white orchid corsage. The groom's 'm ?: The Williams Ward Chapel in Grace, Idaho, was the setting for the March 24th wedding of Karma Jo Palmer and NyleM. Bennett. Kaye Palmer Bradford was maid of Honor and Craig Rasmussen served as best man. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alma M. Palmer of Blanding, graduated from Utah and is State University presently teaching junior high school in Idaho. The groom, son of Mr. Lloyd O. Bennett of Portland, and Mrs. Venice Oregon, Keller of Goodendah, Washington, is serving in the United States Army and is presently near Frankfort, stationed Germany. Karma Jo will join her husband as soon as school is out. Those traveling from Blanding to attend the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Alma Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bradford, Miss Shirley Redd, Miss Irene Hatch Redd, Miss Norma Mona Bayles. and Miss Laws, Also attending were Mrs. Lary and Vicky Stevens Ralph who are living in Idaho. mother wore a peach colored dress with matching coat and a white orchid corsage. The brides Navajo mother, Mrs. Katherine Wallace, was in native dress satin skirt, with blue velvet blouse. The bride is a graduate of She San Juan High School. Mesa Community attended State College and Arizona University and is presently --p- ink Relief Society Gives Concerts Relief Society sisters from the San Juan Stake combined their voices this week and last, presenting two lovely concerts proclaiming the theme. Let All My Life Be Music". The concert given in Blanding on April 20 and in Monticello, 25, April presented an blend of choral, effective group and solo, renditions, made even more effective by the introductory narration which preceeded each number. Music Director in the annual spring of charge event was Relva Bowring assisted by stake organist, Sue Zan Lyman. Script for the program was written by Maxine Nielson. Narrator Ray Benedict, with special effects done by Gayle Davis and George Walton. Soft number, Special Pam was directed by Rain", Lee with Minerva Brown playing the Bells. Solos were by Stake I employed by DEA products, Inc of Tempe, Arizona. The groom attends Arizona State University and is majoring in sociology. The couple will be at home in Scottsdale, Arizona. Lighting for the Blanding performance was done by Vetta Bohi and Becky Cochran. Music directors assisting in program preparation were Joy Kirkham, Virginina Butt, Audrey Thomas and Linn Lund. Friends and former class mates of the bride and groom assisted at the buffet table and in caring for the many beautiful and useful gifts. Those helping were Collette Colleen Cannon, Hunts, Elizabeth Sharen Black, Billie May, Dianna Niskanen, Reta Burham, Phillips, Mrs Beth Wright, Mrs. Bernice and Mrs. Paulin Perkins, Lauderback.
