Show rm mb ESA installs new officers Beta Delta Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha met May 13, at the home of Mrs. Duane Keown for the purpose of installation of officers for 1970-7- 1. Mrs. Sparks , in return, presented Mrs. Brazelton with a gift in apperciation of her two years in service as President. The newly-install- ed officers were: Mrs. Robert Sparks, co-host- ess. The first half of the Revue features a variety of group and solo dances; some of which were choreographed by the students themselves. The 75 scholarship winners were announced this week by John Q. Cannon Jr. , Chairman of the Scholarship Committee and Coordinator of Placement and Financial Aids at SUSC. "The typical academic attain ments of this year's scholarship applicants were higher than those for the groups of applicants in any previous year", Mr. Cannon observed Each scholarship awarded waives tuition for each quarter of the 1970-7- 1 year. They all went to see the play "Fiddler on the Roof", a Broadway production put on by the Southern Utah State College Campus Community Theater. Patti, her play daughter, had one of the leading roles in the play. It was presented four nights and received standing ovations each night. Tickets were sold out .for each performance with standing room only. there will be some outstanding dance numbers. This promises to be one of the memorable programs of the year. It would be useless to try to explain the talents of Stan or Darwin, for they are well known artists, county-wid- e, and anyone who has heard them would walk a mile to see and hear them again. Stan is coming all the way from Provo just for this night of music. The men's quartet is becoming very famous for their talents and plan to make many public appearances in the future. The beautiful girls in the dance will add a lovely feminine touch to the program.
