To avoid any embarrassing moments be sure you fish only where the waters are open - check your Fishing Proclamation if you are not sure of where to fish. Fishing hours will be from 4 A. M. to 9 P. M. and all lakes will be planted for the opening day, according to Cecil Jones, Conservation Officer for the County. How ever Mr. Jones warns fisher- men that the water pollution laws and the litter law will be imposed and enforced. Following is a list of the waters in the area that are available for fishing and the condition of each. Blanding Reservoir 3 -Will be stocked with rainbow catchables prior to opening. Fishing normally good during early and late summer. Blanding 4 - This reservoir developed a leak last year in the dam and will not be stocked for opening. Intermedicate swimmers 12- are for those aged 10-1- 2, 15 and for adults and Senior Life Saving is open for those 16 years or older or in the 11th grade and up. A prerequisite for this class is to pass the screen test and again a minimum of ten must sign up for the class to fill.
