Show Services held for Blanding matron Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Blanding Ward Chapel for Mrs. Irene Perkins Lyman, age 74, who died May 24 in the San Juan County Hospital following an illness of five months. Bishop Curtis Jones of the Third Ward conducted the services. The opening prayer was by Kirk Nielson with Anthon Black giving the invocation. Sue Zan Lyman, a granddaughter, provided the music for the services and a trio consisting of Kay Lyman and daughters Mary Kay and Sue Zan sang. Mrs. Gladys Perkins Lyman, a sister, gave the life history of Mrs. Lyman. Gordon Platt and Arthur Morin, both spoke as did Karl Lyman, a nephew and Bishop Jones gave the closing remarks. sons-in-la- P. Temple and had six children, five of whom survive. Mrs. Lyman was very active in the LDS Church and served as a Sunday School teacher, a Relief Society visiting teacher served two Stake Missions with her husband and particularly enjoyed being the visiting teacher. Her husband survives her as do sons Kay, Blanding; Edward R. , Moab; Almon, Stockton, Cal. ; daughters Mrs. Rene Morin, Richmond, Utah and Mrs. Allie Platte of Provo. Redshaw attended the farewell dinner Saturday evening in vloab for the Frank Binghams. Mr. and Mrs. Drexel Pruitt and two children of Farming-to- n, N. M. , spent Friday with the Jaimie Crowleys.
