The play was written by Crawford Gates. A shortened version of it will be presented Friday for the MIA leaders who will then be taught how to produce it Promised Valley will be presented in the San Juan Stake on a community basis in August. It will also be presented in its entirety at the June MIA Conference in Salt Lake City. Representatives from San Juan Stake at the workshop will be Dean Randall, Carol Chapman, Rae Randall, and Marjorie Jack-soMonticello .Ward will have Carolyn Black, Phyllis Heaton, Barbara Dalton, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Young in attendance, while from 'Monticello 2nd Ward there will be Norma Young and Patti Lyman. The Rebus Rota Club had a delightful afternoon Saturday when Mr. LaRay Alexander of Blanding presented an illustrated lecture on Europe. The meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Golda Strong. An election of otficers was held wit hthe following results: Ruth Mickelsen, president; Helen Redd, Ruth Bloomfield, r; secretary-treasureLily Argyle and Isabelle Redd, committee; historian. The new officers will assume office July 1. The group will meet next on April 22 at the home of Mrs. L. Frank Redd. Add a small amount of the hot mixture to the beaten egg yolks. Slowly add egg yolk mixture to the rest of the milk and lemon juice combination in the pan. Cook, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add the gelatin which has been dissolved in the cold water. Then add the lemon rind and salt. Allow the custard mixture to cool. Line a spring form pan with ladyfingers. When the custard mixture is cool, fold In the stiffly whipped cream. Pour this into the spring form pan and chill for several hours or overnight in the refrigerator. When set, garnish with 1 cup stiffly whipped cream. CHOCOLATE REFRIGERATOR CAKE: Omit the lemon juice and lemon rind. Add 2 squares chocolate to the milk and sugar in the top of the doable boiler. After adding the gelatin, add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Garnish with shaved chocolate. Prune Beauty Salad Vz unflavored teaspoon salt gelatin packages 1 cup diced 1 celery cup orange juice 2 tablespoons chopped green Halved plumped prunes pepper (about 18 halves) vz cup 18 Walnuts chopped plumped 2 cups (1 pound) cottage prunes Lettuce cheese Salad dressing five minutes. Then dissolve gelain Soften gelatin orange juice tin over boiling water. Arrange prune halves, cut side up in bottom of loaf mold; fill with walnuts. Combine cottage cheese, salt, celery, green pepper and chopped prunes. Add gelatin mixture; mix well. Carefully spoon cottage cheese mixture over prunes. Chill until firm. Unmold.
