Sister Della Cox of Castle Dale has been called as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Recognition Pfc. Cornett Marine Corps Pfc. Matthew P. Cornett, son of Michelle L. and Mark W. Cornett of Huntington recently graduated from the Light Armored Vehicle Repairman Course. During the course at Marine Corps Detachment, US Army Ordinance Center and School, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Pfc. Cornett received instruction on trouble shooting, repair and inspection of light armored vehicles (LAV). Pfc. Cornett learned to repair the vehicles that provide infantrymen with the capability of performing offensive and defensive missions requiring agility and fire power. The LAV, which can travel at 60 mph, carries the 25mm bushmaster chain machine gun. gun and the The LAV can be launched from a ship with the help of the Navy landingcraft, which transport the vehicles and crews to Saints.
